The only expected conclicts in scheduling with my Rover services are my visits to the gym between 6-8am. However, for early or overnight bookings, I do not attend the gym.

So that I can make plans to accommodate their allergies, health requirements, points of their bodies prone to injuries, whether they can be around other dogs etc.
A typical day
If my client lives close by it, I can take the dogs to Ferry Meadows for its large fields, quiet tracks, aesthetics, boats, bridges, lakes, and of course, members of the community for social stimulation.

Pet care experience
My manager of my first retail job always brought his two Border Collies to work and I would sometimes have the opportunity to take them to the nearby park so they could run around or swim in the river during the summer months. For 6 months across 2019/20, I lived in a house with 3.5 year old working Cocker Spaniel who I took for runs, fed when the owners were at work, but always let her sleep on my bed overnight until she became pregnant. *Addition: 24/10/21* As of September 25th 2021, I have begun a work placement at Amblewood Kennels & Cattery. There I have gained much more experience and will continue to do so until November 21st 2021. After this I hope to continue growing my skills through working for Rover. Taking care of my clients companions will become my new (hopefully) part time profession. I will do as much as is needed for the sake of my clients companions. To this end, my main focus will be on communication and comprehension between myself and my client. *Addition: 13/12/23* I am now available full time for all Rover services, barring those that require my own house, as it is going through repairs and renovations.

We requested services for Imran for 17 days to dog-sit our two huskies and one golden retriever. Punctuality: He was punctual Care for dogs: He clearly loves dogs, which we appreciated. However, the overall experience was negative on the below areas. House cleanliness: When we returned from vacation, the house was a like a bachelor’s house. It was kept highly untidy. Kitchen: The kitchen was cluttered with food boxes and soda cans, the toilet was dirty, and there was uncleaned Dog Poop Cleaning: There was dog poop in the yard for all 17 days leading to insects, maggots, and slugs sitting on the dog poop. Centre Table: We had a wooden centre table that has a damage which was apparently mentioned as hot food was kept on it. We keep our hot food too and had not experienced the same thing. While Imran may care for dogs, cleanliness and responsibility around the house were major issues. Based on our experience, we would recommend clear agreements while on long-term dog sitting.
Imran helped us on short notice with our furry babies. He was punctual, clear with his communication and accommodating. Our dogs enjoyed their stay with him and we were stress-free while away knowing he was there.
