Hello! My name is Imogen! I have lived in Humboldt for about a year now, and I’m excited to start caring for pets in our community. I’ve been around animals my whole life and have experience caring for all kinds of pets, animals, and livestock. I’m comfortable with animals of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m responsible, patient, and detail-oriented, and I understand how important it is to feel comfortable trusting someone with your pets and your home. I’m also very clean and respectful of other people’s spaces. I’ll keep your pets’ areas clean, pick up after them, clean up any messes they make, and make sure your home is left tidy and cared for. I’m happy to follow your pets’ normal routines and instructions closely, and I’ll keep you updated so you can have peace of mind knowing how they’re doing. I also have extensive equine experience, including teaching riding lessons and summer camps and working as a working student at two different barns. I’m familiar with all aspects of large-animal care and can provide my résumé and professional equine references upon request.

I love giving pets more than just the basics! I’m happy to play, go on walks, and give them plenty of attention and enrichment. If you’re comfortable with it, I’d also love to take your dog on local adventures, whether that’s a walk through Sequoia Park or a trip to the beach. I’ll always follow your instructions and your pet’s normal routine while making sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection.

Schedule
My schedule is very flexible, so I’m happy to work with your pets’ routines and needs! I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays, and I’m always happy to spend extra time playing and giving your pets attention. For longer stays, I’m also happy to water plants, bring in mail, and help keep things tidy around the home.
