I recently moved to New Kent and am easing back into Rover after a few years away. I work part-time and spend most of my time at home, so caring for pets easily fits into my daily routine. I'm available for boarding most days, with flexible availability for drop-ins and walks within my 5-mile mile radius.

Your pet's safety is my priority. I offer a calm, family-friendly home with plenty of space and a fenced yard. I'm experienced with all temperaments, including shy or energetic pups. I can crate if needed, follow feeding/medication routines, and keep your dog supervised at all times. Your pet will be treated like part of our family.

For everyone's safety and comfort, I ask that all pets staying with us are friendly with children. My home is family-based, so it's important that your dog is comfortable around kids, other dogs, and a calm household environment. Please share any quirks, routines, or behavior notes ahead of time so I can give your pet the best care possible. As with any booking, occasional accidents can happen. However, repeated indoor accidents or marking that create unsanitary conditions may result in the booking ending early and the owner being asked to arrange pickup. At this time, I only offer cat care in conjunction with dog boarding and do not provide standalone cat-only services.
A typical day
A typical day includes fresh air, outside time, and plenty of attention. We take walks around my quiet neighborhood, play in the yard, and relax inside as needed. I follow each dog's normal routine so they feel comfortable and at home. If your pup enjoys extra enrichment, I can add games, training practice, or longer walks.

Pet care experience
I’ve cared for animals my entire life — from energetic puppies to gentle seniors, and even family birds. I’m comfortable with all kinds of dog personalities, including high-energy breeds, relaxed loungers, pitties, and dogs who need a little extra patience. I also have hands-on experience with basic bird care such as feeding, refreshing water, and keeping their space clean. I’ve trained dogs, given medications when needed, handled pups who aren’t crate-trained, and supported pets through sick days with extra attention and comfort. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life, and I bring that same calm, loving, and structured approach to every pet I welcome into my home.

Imani did a wonderful job with our dog while we were gone for the Thanksgiving holiday. She was very professional from the beginning and provided excellent updates while we were gone on how our dog was doing. I would highly recommend her and will definitely be using her again to watch our dog!
