I’ve been surrounded by dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family often dog sat a sweet little Maltese who taught me early on what patient, gentle care looks like. From brushing silky coats to learning the importance of routine and comfort, that childhood experience shaped the way I approach every dog I meet. As well as the relationship ships with all the dogs I met in my childhood neighborhood, often going house to house to play with them. More recently, I’ve spent a lot of time caring for two different bulldogs, each with their own big personalities and unique needs. My longest relationship was with Bella the Bulldog, who became like family to me. I cared for her regularly—walks, playtime, meds when needed, and plenty of cuddles—until she recently moved to the big city with her owner’s mother. Even though I miss her, the experience strengthened my love for caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Whether it’s a small, sensitive pup or a sturdy, snuggly bulldog, I bring patience, consistency, and genuine affection to every dog I look after. I’d love to offer that same level of care to your pet! Unfortunately because my mother was allergic we did not keep pets in the house for long, but I was lucky enough to care for a gerbil I lovingly named Bill and a family bunny we named Hershey. With them I made some of the best memories of my childhood and look forward to caring for the beloved pets of others as a pet sitter here on Rover!
