I am free most days to come play with your pups and get them outside exploring the neighborhood. I love training dogs in my spare time and seeing them grow in confidence and skills! I currently am unable to stay overnight / all day for petsitting.

A typical day
A typical day with me includes plenty of positive reinforcement, play, and enrichment! I love working with dogs and often spend time teaching simple tricks like “shake” or reinforcing good behaviors while we hang out. During walks, I like to reward “good job” moments—like calmly passing other dogs, waiting politely at doors, or listening to commands. I always carry treats so I can encourage good behavior and make the experience fun and rewarding for your dog!

Pet care experience
I started caring for pets when I was 12 years old. I love working with dogs and spend a lot of my free time training them. I trained my own dog, who performs three tasks for me and knows 10+ additional commands. If you’re looking for a sitter or walker who might teach your dog a new trick like “shake” or reinforce commands like “stay” while they’re there, I’m your guy! I may be on the smaller side, but don’t let that fool you—I have plenty of experience with large dogs. My best friend growing up was my 200+ lb Newfoundland!

Ilya did a wonderful job watching my pup Val and cat Roara while I was on vacation! Provided updates each day and was patient with my pup who can sometimes take a while to warm up to people! She was Ilya's biggest fan in no time, lots of play and belly rubs! I would highly recommend!
You could not find a better pet sitter than Ilya! He absolutely loves animals and would treat your dog like his own. Ilya grew up with dogs his whole life including a 200 pound Newfoundland, who was his best friend. Now, he has his own dog, Willa who he has trained to be a wonderful dog. Ilya is very kind, patient and responsible. He would do a great job with dogs of any temperament.
