Currently, I offer house sitting (taking out trash, plant care, etc), drop ins, pet sitting (2-3 walks, medicine if applicable, feeding, play time), pet walks, and feeding. I can sometimes accommodate last minute bookings and am available most holidays, evenings and weekends. I love pets and will often spend a little extra time with them if you're worried about them being left alone.

A typical day
I like to make sure the pets I look after have a fun and engaging experience during my visit. For dogs, I’ll take them out for 2-3 30-minute walks with enrichment time all throughout (getting to take in the sights and smells of nature). For cats, I like to have 2 15-minute play sessions if they’re playful. If not, I roll with what they like more.

Pet care experience
I have been a pet sitter in the Boston/Cambridge area for the past 2 years with experience working with cats, dogs, and birds. I largely work with cats and dogs that might need a little extra attention. Does your furry friend need medicine 3 times a day? I do that. Does your dog have leash aggression or very specific likes and dislikes? I’ve dealt with that too. Separation anxiety? Check! Senior dogs struggling with incontinence? I’m here to help.

Ilse was so amazing with our reactive (large) dog. She gave very detailed updates and took lots of photos for us. Our dog even had an unexpected health issue before her stay and she administered medication for our dog which she took on rather last minute and I really appreciated it. I am excited to hire her again!!

Ilse was wonderful watching our pets - particularly our anxious dog - over Fourth of July weekend. Super communicative and comfortable giving our pup meds. Even noticed our plants were getting scorched in the heat and needed some refreshment! Will definitely inept be calling her in the future.
