I grew up with my family cat from the age of 12 to 18 when I moved for school. Before getting my own cat three years ago I had consistently been my friends go-to cat sitter, everything from a daily visits, to overnight care and from short weekends to 4 months of care. For the last three years I had my own cat, who after many medical complications crossed the rainbow bridge in November 2025. I had the privilege of taking care of my ailing cat for a year and have become a confident pill, eye drops, ear drops and inhaler administrator. I have taken care of velcro cats and shy and more distant cats. I care deeply about the animal's comfort and always strive to respect their boundaries.

Ilinca took wonderful care of Bear during his 16-night stay! She ensured he settled in comfortably right away, sent frequent and reassuring updates, and was incredibly accommodating throughout. Bear especially loved bird-watching from her windows! I would highly recommend Ilinca to anyone looking for a reliable sitter and will definitely be rebooking with her in the future.
We had an amazing experience with our pet sitter, Illinca, who watched our two cats, Garfield and Pearl. From the start, she was incredibly attentive and followed instructions. What really stood out was how comfortable she made our cats feel. Garfield is friendly with everyone, but Pearl is usually very shy and takes a long time to warm up to new people. To our surprise, Pearl opened up to her much faster than she normally would, which says a lot about how calm, patient, and caring she was with them. She also kept us constantly updated with messages and photos, which made such a difference since this was the first time we had ever left our fur baby’s with someone else. Seeing the cats relaxed and happy in the updates reassured us that they were in great hands. Overall, she went above and beyond to make sure Garfield and Pearl were well cared for and comfortable. We truly appreciated the effort, communication, and kindness she showed. We would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful pet sitters.
Ilanca took care of my dog and home for a weekend. No issues whatsoever. Ilanca is very sweet :) I hope to have her take care of pepper when I need to travel again.

Ilinca is a sweet, kind, and caring individual who is amazing with animals. She goes out of her way to interact with animals whenever the opportunity presents itself. Ilinca has owned cats for most of her life and knows how to properly care for them, as well as interpret the distinct physical signals our kitties send, signals only fellow cat owners truly understand. I have trusted Ilinca to take care of my cat, who is a bit of a diva and a COVID kitty with separation anxiety, and not easy to care for, on multiple occasions. I can rest easy while I’m away knowing she is being well looked after. I would, without hesitation, recommend Ilinca to anyone looking for someone to care for their pet, especially their cat, while they are away, and trust that their furbaby will be in loving, attentive hands during a difficult separation.

Schedule
I am currently working part time and going to school. I am at home on weekends and my work and school keeps me away from home no more than 7 hours a day.

I live in a three bedroom apartment with my friend and roommate (she was my go-to cat sitter when I had my own car). The living room and Kitchen have amazing 2nd floor windows full of bird and squirrel activity making the windows the perfect cat TV.
A typical day
I love being around cats. They're so good at telling you their needs and are the perfect companion, whether it's working from home, watching tv or cooking in the kitchen.
