I completed my 2 associates at CCC&TI in Hudson, NC. I just graduated Lees McRae College in Banner Elk with my Bachelor’s in Science with a focus in Pre-Vet med. Animals have always been my whole life, big and small no matter the breed! I worked as a pet sitter during my years of school so I have plenty of experience and since school is over I am very free and open! I would like to make this my full time job because I enjoy it so much. I have plenty of time to give walks, take them to the park, or just have some good ol’ one on one time with your pet!

If you have a set schedule for your pet such as potty breaks, feeding times, or medication you can trust that I will follow it to a T! Playing, relaxing, walking, etc. is all apart of the job and I wouldn’t mind doing anything for you or your pet that you may need or request. I like to bring or have mind enrichment toys such as puzzles with treats, play games with your dog like chase, or have them guess which treat is in the hand ;) I will be sure to leave your home better than when I came, and let you know of any accidents or emergencies that may occur while I’m there. You will stay up to date on everything! And of course you will be sent pictures and can request them at any time :)

Let me know if your animal has any special needs, special feeding procedures, allergies, etc. I would appreciate emergency numbers or contacts (such as the neighbors if your close) as well as vaccination and shot records (just incase!) Also, please let me know if there is anything I must do before leaving / or after arriving.
A typical day
A typical day with me as your pet sitter can include (but is not limited to) walks, play time (such as fetch or chase), mental enrichment (such as kongs or puzzles) as well as cuddle time of course! It all depends on what you and your pet are comfortable with. Your dogs a couch potato? No problem! We can relax with cuddles and pets all day! Maybe they’re high energy? No worries! We’ll spend time outside with toys playing fetch or running around and also do some training / games with their food (or treats) to get their mind turning!

Pet care experience
I know that animals are like family, and leaving them in the care of someone else whether it be for work, vacations, a day to relax, or if you may be too busy to walk them can be hard. I want to take the stress off of leaving your pet with someone else and let you know that I will take the best care of them! I have been around animals all my life, I own my own animals, and I’ve worked in animal hospitals so I have been around many different breeds, sizes, temperaments, etc. I want you to know that you can trust me with your pets :)

Iliana came in and saved our vacation! Our puppy got sick a week before we had a nonrefundable vacation planned. Luckily she recovered before we left. However, we didn’t just want to leave her with anyone. Iliana came and stayed ant our house while we were gone. We wanted someone to keep an eye on her 24/7 just in case. She administered meds while we were gone and even helped with the chickens.
Iliana did an outstanding job looking out for my Labrador over the long holiday weekend. Even a last minute change of schedule, she was quite accommodating. Prompt text reports with a photo were provided at every visit. I would highly recommend Iliana to anyone looking for a responsible pet sitter.
