Ilexis was an amazing sitter!! She replaced food, water, and litter whenever it was necessary and played with Ziggy each day. They even went out of their way to do some other things I needed around the house, like laundry and brought me some of her own litter bags when I ran out. They were very responsive and gave me constant updates while I was away. This was also a last minute booking, so I appreciate her willingness to sit Ziggy and the care they gave her!

It disappoints me to write this review, as we had thought we found a responsible and reliable dog walker and house sitter for our dog. We booked Ilexis to board/house sit for our dog for two nights and shared a very detailed schedule of her needs including food and walk timings, along with the fact that she would be okay up to 3hours alone at a time. Ilexis not alone left my apartment at 10:30pm and did not stay at the apartment with my dog as instructed, leaving her alone over night, she also did not as scheduled feed her or take her down the following morning as per her schedule. So my dog was left alone, unattended for 12hrs overnight. When I noticed the alarm was set as away at 10:30pm and why at 9:45am the alarm was still set as away, I immediately contacted Ilexis and asked her if she stayed at the apartment and what the situation was. Ilexis provided unacceptable and ridiculous excuses—she over extended herself with her work schedule, she “misunderstood” my insurrections. The entire situation is beyond my comprehension, and although Ilexis was apologetic, her actions were incredibly upsetting and dangerous and negligent. I have immediately cancelled all future walks and absolutely cannot trust that Ilexis is reliable and can follow instructions. I hope that she does not provide the same level of service to another customer.
