I have a full-time job and work fully remotely. I dedicate at least 3 hours a day to playing with my dog and working on training. I also spend the weekends going on hikes and longer expeditions with her.

Exercise is crucial for both dogs and cats. I make sure my cat has play toys so I’m able to engage with her and I take my dog to parks and on runs frequently to help let her energy out. I also do puzzles to keep her mentally stimulated.

I have no breed preferences, but I do want to know about their social behaviors and any allergies they may have. If your dog is an escape artist or tends to run off, I want to know ahead of time.
A typical day
I’m a firm believer that dogs (and cats) need mental stimulation for both their physical and mental health. I play games with them, create puzzles, and go on long hikes. I also like to play fetch for the fetchers out there and teach new tricks.

I’ve had a dog for as long as I can remember and have trained my last 3 dogs (a mutt, a lab/pit mix, and a husky mix) myself. Daily walks and trips to the dog park are a regular occurrence, and we spend hours playing fetch at the parks. I also take them on frequent runs. I currently only have the husky mix as the others passed. I’m available just about any time, any day of the week. I’m comfortable with all dog sizes and breeds and am happy to accommodate you and your precious pup! I’m also very comfortable with cats and have my own.

Ileana is wonderful! This was our first time leaving our dogs with a non-family member and one of our boys is somewhat timid. Everything went so well. Ileana is very responsive and kept us updated with pictures and videos. Thank you for taking great care of our dogs!
