Lifelong Animal Lover and Pet Owner
Growing up it was my dream to be a vet, but since that isn't where my career took me, I love to spend my spare time surrounded by animals! I worked as a vet technician in high school and college, grew up with a family dog and cats, and now live in the Maryland suburbs with my husband, two young kids and our fluffy sweet and loving black cat Zinnia. I dog sit for my friends often, and my husband and I mostly work from home with flexible schedules. My family and I love to spend our spare time caring for neighborhood pets! I had a wonderful experience finding care for our cat when we were new to the area, and I would love to give back and care for your cats and dogs!

Ilana was fantastic.Ilana took excellent care of my dog Duke while I was out of town for three days. She was reliable, professional, and clearly cared about Duke’s well-being. She handled feeding and walking him twice a day, and giving his daily medication without any issues. It gave me real peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. I would absolutely recommend Ilana to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.
Ilana was great with our two cats! She visited our house twice a day while we were away and made sure our cats were well taken care of. She followed all of our care directions and was flexible when needed. We appreciated her help and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to others!

Programa
I work remotely much of the time, and if I accept a request me and/or my husband would be home with your pup for daily exercise, walks and bathroom breaks! Our kids adore having dogs around to play with in the evenings and on weekends, and they are very good with animals.

I have a fully fenced in backyard with lots of space for frolicking and play, and a walkable neighborhood close to rock creek and other parks for dogs who like longer walks.

We make sure there is plenty of outdoor play for those who want it (both in the backyard and walks around neighborhood), and lots of cuddle time with pups on the couch with the whole family.
