Having pets growing up I would always ensure they had enough water and would feed them on their regular schedule. But most importantly I believe all pets need enrichment time. For house sitting I will uphold this standard. For walks I will make sure they get to sniff to their hearts content.

A typical day
I like to take all dogs on walks but for more high energy breeds I would happily run with them/chase them around. Additionally I would gladly play fetch with them as well as tug of war so long as the dog is up for it. For cats I would use whatever cat toys are on hand to entertain them.

Pet care experience
I have taken care of both cats and dogs growing up. I have always enjoyed playing with them and going out on walks. In addition I have experience bathing, grooming, and feeding them. Moreover I have volunteer experience cleaning up after and feeding animals at Sweet Olive Farm.

I have three cats, and one of them still requires special care. Ilana was wonderful, honest, and incredibly caring with all of them. I left them in her care for four days, and she was always willing to help and went above and beyond. I truly recommend her, and if I ever need a pet sitter again, I won’t hesitate to contact her.
Ilana is one of the best pet sitters around! She is always going out of her way to take care of and love the animals in her life! I have four cats in my home and when I needed someone last minute to watch them she immediately stepped up.
Ilana is excellent with animals! I have a terrier that is a barker, and she usually barks at new people she meets, but she didn't bark at Ilana when she was first introduced, and in fact she cozied right up to Ilana and can't wait for Ilana to come by for a walk!
Lana is a lovely person and an honest-to-god dog lover. She takes care of my Yorkie Kobe while I'm at work, and honestly it seems like he's started to like her more than me, haha. Between taking him to parks, keeping him fed, and giving him all the attention and playtime he could ask for, she's basically become his favorite person. She's super communicative and sends me updates and photos whenever I need them. Very reliable, always conscious about cleaning up after him, and stays on top of his medications. Would highly recommend Lana!
