Hi! My name is Ilana, and I’m a nursing student at University of Colorado Colorado Springs. I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have helped care for our family’s rescue dogs since 2015. Over the years, I’ve had experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities, including Boxers, German Shepherds, Great Pyrenees, Chihuahuas, and Boston Terriers. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, giving medications if needed, and helping dogs feel calm, safe, and cared for. Because many of our dogs were rescues, I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and paying attention to each dog’s individual needs and temperament. In addition to pet care experience, I’ve also worked as a camp counselor and teacher’s assistant, which helped me become responsible, attentive, organized, and dependable. I’d love to help care for your pets and make sure they feel comfortable and happy while you’re away. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind.
