I love all animals and they feel that. I love nature and we go on walks, hikes and boat rides. I have experience with pets at all stages of life and have over 30 years experience caring for animals. I don't smoke or party. I'm a professional and you can trust me in your home. I am equipped with dog belts, dog mats, dog life jackets, cat furniture and a Canada Paddle Level 1 certification. I live on a large property on a lake. If your animal isn't feeling well under my care, there is no effort too large to save him/her. I can administer medication, insulin, inhalers and SQ fluids. I have recently lost my beloved pet and have therefore now opened to boarding and house-sitting. I offer private boarding-- only one family at a time so that they have the full run of the house and can feel like they're in their own home here. I understand loneliness and your pet's need for companionship. I fall in love with all the animals that I take care of and treat them as my own.

This was our first time leaving our dog with someone who wasn’t family and we were a bit nervous. All of those nerves immediately went away because Ilana was amazing. She sent pictures and videos, and even shared when they were out walking on trails. Calvin was spoiled and because of this, we will be repeat customers for sure. Thanks Ilana!

Ryker loved his stay with Ilana. He is recovering from a minor surgery so he needed a relaxed environment and someone okay with giving him medication. Ilana provided that and he got lots of trail walks to keep occupied (his favourite thing).

10/10 Ilana is absolutely perfect in my eyes when it comes to a pet sitter. She’s responsive, attentive to their schedule and needs, and excellent with communication. She also sends wonderful pictures of the animals which is so appreciated. I’ve used her many times now and will continue to have her back!

I know that pets spend the day waiting for their humans to come home. That's why I always spend extra time at my client's homes and on walks.
A typical day
We go on trails, outings, excursions, boat rides. My service includes picking up your doggy and driving to and from a trail where the walk or boat ride then begins. No charge for the pick up and drop-off or driving time.
