I grew up with two female Bichon Frises, Ginger and Sage. I have cared for them for 15 years, and now that I have moved away from home, I would love to meet new furry friends! I have experience administering medication, as Ginger has a Cortisol imbalance and sometime experiences loss of appetite. I have 5 years of experience caring for other families’ fur babies, including seniors with disabilities, flea and tick removal, and training puppies.

Ijahala was perfect! I was so nervous to find the right person to stay with my crazy little rescue on short notice, but she made me immediately feel so much better. My girl, who normally takes so long to trust new people, warmed up to her immediately! Such a gift to have found her.
Ijahala saved us and walked our dog on short notice. She gave him a lovely break from his crate and from the pictures he thoroughly enjoyed all the belly rubs. Thanks!

I’m currently a full time upperclass law student with a very flexible schedule. I spend most days studying at home and have most class two days a week.

A typical day
I am very active and love to go on walks, runs, and to lounge outside. We will go on a run in the park or around the neighborhood - I'm always looking for new routes! We'll also chill inside and make sure we stay hydrated, especially in the summer months! Because I work full-time from home, your pet will definitely get a lot of love and attention.

- I love all my furry friends, although small-medium sized breeds have a special place in my heart. My favorite breeds are Bichon Frise, Corgi, Maltese, Shih Tzu, Goldies, Goldendoodles, Yorkies, Poodles... the list goes on! I would love to know if your pet is potty trained and prone to biting. Should they be put in a crate when alone? Should their food be out all day or just at meal times? Other behavioral information is welcome! :)
