Dogs: I've been a dog borrower via the BorrowMyDoggy website since 2021 but I have been around dogs for all 30+ years of my life. I have experience with a variety of breeds, including senior pets, puppies, and rescue dogs with behavioural issues. I'm very comfortable with basic training and grooming if necessary. As a pet carer, I believe approaching every pet and their family with curiosity and patience ensures I can provide the best tailored care as possible, and create trust from the moment we meet. Cats: While I have less experience with cats, I am comfortable around them and able to provide basic care like feeding, cleaning the litter box, play/company and some grooming. For more specific needs, further instructions may be needed.

Safety, trust & environment
Before taking on any pet care at the owner's house, I prefer to organise a visit to their home to familiarise myself with the pets normal environment and ask thorough questions about their care needs and personality, medical issues, play etc. This also makes the pet more comfortable with having me, as a new person, in their environment. I'm also happy to arrange walks or 1 to 1 meetings so the owner(s) can get to know me and see me interact with their pet. Communication and trust are key! My home is a 1 bedroom flat which is not very spacious for pets, but I live alone, the building is quiet and there are many walking routes and parks nearby. I prefer to petsit from the owners home but my home is also available for shorter stays. For dog boarding & doggy day care, please let me know if your dog tends to bark a lot as this may disturb my neighbours.

Sam had a great time with Iina. He is a border collie so he needs to stay out in the open air for a long time and Iina has done a great job respecting his routine and his walking habits. He is very attentive to the needs of my dog walking like water and games. nothing to complain about and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Absolutely wonderful catsitter! Great communication throughout, super friendly, and incredibly thorough with updates and care. It was obvious my cat felt really comfortable and happy with her, which gave me complete peace of mind while away. I’d happily book again and would highly recommend to anyone looking for someone reliable and genuinely caring.
