Experienced Dog Owner who
I’m an experienced dog owner and sitter who’s cared for a range of breeds, from Huskies and German Shepherd crosses to various small and medium-sized dogs for family and friends. I currently have a 6-year-old Golden Labrador who’s friendly and well-socialized. I have plenty of experience with anxious and reactive dogs and always take a calm, patient approach to help them feel safe and happy. I’m also happy to keep up with any training routines during their stay or walks to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for.

Ieva has taken care of my dog Bonnie multiple times, and she’s been amazing every single time. She’s super reliable, communicates really well, and genuinely loves the pets she looks after. Bonnie can be a little off with meeting new people, but she warms up to Ieva so quickly and even get's excited whenever she knows Ieva is coming. I always feel totally at ease knowing Bonnie is with someone who’s kind, attentive, and really understands dogs. She has even gone as far as rearranging her schedule when I've needed an urgent sitter, which makes her an absolute lifesaver. I've also been very impressed by her knowledge of dogs. She's told me she's had dogs in the past and it really shows in her abillity to read them and react to their needs. Ieva is an incredible sitter, and I can’t recommend her enough.

Schedule
I have the freedom to work from home most days, as well as the option to work from a dog-friendly office. My flexible lifestyle and plenty of spare time mean I can give another furry friend lots of care, walks, and attention.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a dog-friendly apartment building with a secure, enclosed terrace and a local park just a five-minute walk away. I treat all pets like my own, giving them plenty of love and attention. Pets are welcome on the furniture so they can feel right at home and relaxed.

A typical day
As well as good long walks, I make sure the furry ones are physically and mentally tired, through enrichments indoors and outdoors, I like to create them little puzzles ,taking them to different environments or doing some obedience training
