I’m a qualified dog trainer and have been educating and supporting dog owners through courses since 2021. My background means I don’t just care for dogs — I understand their behaviour, communication, and individual needs. Alongside my professional work, I train and compete with my own dogs, giving me hands-on, real-life experience across different situations, environments, and temperaments. This allows me to provide calm, structured, and compassionate care, tailored to each dog as an individual.

Maple has just come back from spending a week with Ida and her pups where she had a fab time. We was a little nervous leaving Maple as she is/was only a young pup, but a change in family circumstances meant last minute we had to find a boarder. Due to her age many wouldn’t take Maple, but thankfully Ida did. We needn’t of worried, Ida is clearly very knowledgable with dogs and put our mind at ease with regular updates and a understanding of puppies and their ‘traits’ in learning and finding their way in life. Thank you again for having Maple, she is certainly gonna miss her new friends in your dogs, and we will certainly bare you in mind if she needs a boarder again.

I would highly recommend Ida for day care. I felt truly relaxed with Tarka in her care as she is clearly a natural with dogs. Very uncomplicated service, and very attentive to Tarkas tendency to whine when I’m not home. When I did return back he was fast asleep on the sofa. A clear sign of a busy and fun day with a relaxed atmosphere :)
Ida is a very competent and responsible dog sitter, dog walker and dog trainer. I always felt safe leaving my dogs with her and I knew that she would take great care of them. She could handle my more difficult dog and gave me advice and help with him.
Ida took wonderful care of our Sprocker Spaniel and has renewed our hope after a terrible experience at a local kennels. She is clearly very experienced and comfortable with dogs and made Kimber feel very welcome. Communication was brilliant with photo updates throughout the weekend. We’re delighted to have found someone locally who is reliable and with whom our dog is comfortable and happy. Would most definitely recommend!

Schedule
I work from home with dog training, which gives me great flexibility and the ability to adapt to your dog’s needs. I’m present throughout the day and can adjust routines as needed. At times, I attend training sessions or competitions with my own dogs, during which I may be unavailable due to this. These dates are always planned in advance and clearly communicated, ensuring your dog continues to receive attentive and reliable care.

Dogs in my care enjoy safe off-lead time in a secure garden, where they can relax, play, and move freely. Every day also includes a longer walk, tailored to the dog’s age, energy level, and individual needs. My focus is on providing both physical exercise and calm, balanced care, so each dog feels safe, stimulated, and at home.
