Dogs have been part of my life since day one! My mom has been fostering dogs ( Shamrock Pet Foundation in Louisville) since I was a baby, so I literally grew up surrounded by dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. From shy rescues to energetic puppies, I’ve had hands-on experience caring for them all. Being around dogs just comes naturally to me — they’ve always been part of my family and my everyday life. I’m confident and comfortable making them feel safe, happy, and loved. I treat every dog like they’re my own, and I always tailor care to their unique needs and personality.

Safety, trust, and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets. Whether I’m in your home or welcoming your pet into mine, I make sure they feel secure, loved, and relaxed. In your home, I always respect your space and routines. I follow your care instructions closely — from feeding and potty breaks to playtime and preferred walking routes — to keep your pet’s day as normal and stress-free as possible. In my home, pets are treated like family. I create a calm, safe environment where they can feel comfortable, whether they’re playful or more laid-back. I make sure the space is pet-proofed and that they always have access to water, cozy spots to rest, and supervised outdoor time in the dog park or in the fenced backyard. I also believe in building trust — both with your pet and with you. I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos, so you always know how your furry friend is doing!

Ida and Andrew are amazing pet sitting gods, and we are so grateful for their loving care. Ida knew just what to do and how to handle Rocco‘s needs and disposition. she took our nervous apprehensive young dog, and turned him in to a calm contented pup for the duration of his stay. She sent us pictures every day of Rocco‘s activities and he just seemed so happy
We had a great experience!! Our dog was very happy and we loved receiving photos of our dog while away. She was very responsive and helpful! Would recommend!

Ida was absolutely lovely to communicate with and Ducky loved her. She was great with our dog and really saved us in a pinch. Next time we find ourselves in town and in need of a buddy for Ducky, we know who to call! ❤️
I was so anxious about leaving Prince for the first time and really wanted to find someone kind, calm, and warm. I was so blessed to come across Ida. Her prices are incredibly reasonable, but honestly, the care she gives is priceless. She’s truly a top-notch babysitter. She kept me updated the whole time, sent pictures, and made sure Prince felt safe and loved. He adores her so much already! I felt so calm and at peace during my trip knowing he was in her hands. Ida is amazing — sweet, responsible, patient, and you can tell she genuinely loves what she does. I wouldn’t look anywhere else for future sitting for my baby, Prince. Thank you so much, Ida. As a student at NPS with a flexible schedule, I have lots of time to dedicate to dog walking or pet sitting — and I’d love to spend it with your pup!
