Compassionate Animal Lover
Hi there! I’m an empathic and deeply compassionate animal lover with a lifetime of experience caring for a variety of beloved companions—cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, Guinea pigs, and even chinchillas. Animals have always held a sacred place in my heart and home. 💁 I use they/them pronouns—please be kind and respectful when communicating with and about me. Over the years, I’ve volunteered at the Napa Animal Shelter, walking dogs, fostered cats and kittens, and lovingly boarded pets of all shapes and sizes. I also volunteered at Dogs of Ella Sanctuary in Sri Lanka and cared for their very vulnerable population of 60 street dogs. I was blessed to share eight unforgettable years with my best friend, Susie Q, a soulful Puggle who crossed the rainbow bridge on 3/3/23 at age 15. She remains with me always—ask me about my memorial tattoo that carries a part of her. 🐾💪 Pet care isn’t my profession—it’s my passion. With a background that includes an MBA, corporate marketing, work in Real Estate and Digital Marketing, and now a heart-led career as a three times certified Sound Healer and Reiki Master, I also work as an importer/exporter of handmade treasures from India. These include: handmade Singing Bowls, Gongs, Brass Statues, Vintage Wall Art, Shilajeet, Custom Jewelry. ✨ I also offer Sound Healing and Reiki for pets, which can be especially supportive for anxiety, transitions, or aging companions. ✨ My style of care is grounded in reliability, respect, and routine. I aim to honor your pet’s existing schedule and daily rhythms (as much as my availability allows), so they feel safe, secure, and well-loved—even in your absence. I believe continuity and compassion are key, especially during times of change. For overnight stays (“House Sitting”), I provide regular potty breaks, feeding, companionship, and up to 60 minutes of dedicated walk time per full day (either one 60-minute walk or two 30-minute walks). Most pets are happiest with consistent, quality outings rather than marathon exercise sessions. If your dog thrives on additional or extended walks, I’m always happy to add those as separate bookings to ensure their needs are fully met. Friends, neighbors, and colleagues trust me with their fur babies time and time again—and now, you can too. 🫶 I proudly support LGBTQAI+ and BIPOC communities and, depending on the booking, I may be able to offer special rates for queer/trans folks, people of color, active military, and veterans. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. At home, I have a fenced backyard where dogs can enjoy safe outdoor time, and I’m happy to crate your pup if requested for added structure and peace of mind. I’m equally comfortable providing calm, cozy care for cats, too—whether they’re playful or prefer a quiet corner to nap and feel secure. I love taking dogs on gentle walks through Holbrook-Palmer Park, Redwood Shores Baylands, or even along the beaches of Half Moon Bay—and I’d be thrilled to bring your furry companion along for some fresh air and connection with nature. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I adapt to each animal’s unique needs and personality. If your companion is senior, recovering, on medication, or simply prefers cuddles and quiet time, I’m honored to provide the kind of nurturing, respectful care that helps them feel safe, loved, and truly at ease.

Ian always takes such good care of our boys and always leaves our house immaculate. It’s so huge for us to be able to be away from home and have someone there we can trust. We also really appreciate the regular updates and adorable pictures. I cannot recommend Ian enough!!
Ian is an exceptional sitter who truly goes above and beyond. They took wonderful care of our two dogs, keeping us updated with frequent photos and notes. We were especially impressed by their proactiveness; when one of our pups developed some skin dryness, they were quick to provide support despite the impromptu situation. Not only coming home to happy dogs, but a spotless house was an unexpected and deeply appreciated bonus after a long trip. Ian is personable, caring, professional, and provides total peace of mind. Ian is absolutely the BEST!! They are so kind and considerate, send the best photos of the dogs and you can really tell they love what they do! Ian goes well above and beyond as well! Not only were my pups well cared for and relaxed when we got home, but the house was spotless and they even did the sheets and made the bed so we didn’t have to when we got home! Cannot wait to book again!!
We can’t say enough wonderful things about Ian, our Rover pet sitter. He took exceptional care of our furry family—DJ, our dog, and our two cats, Roxanne and Danny—and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Ian went above and beyond in every way. He sent multiple daily photos, which truly reassured us and let us see just how happy, relaxed, and well cared for our pets were. From frequent walks for DJ to engaging playtime and attentive care for all three, his dedication and genuine love for animals really stood out. What sets Ian apart is his thoughtfulness and initiative. Not only did he provide outstanding care for our pets, but he even noticed our neighbors putting out their garbage and kindly took ours out as well—something we never asked for but deeply appreciated.
