I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to weave pet care into my daily routine with ease. Whether it’s a quick check-in, a longer visit, or quality time spent keeping your pet company, I’m usually able to make it work. I’d be honored to offer your furry companion love, friendship, and comfort—especially during those moments when you’re away and they need it most.

Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. At home, I have a fenced backyard where dogs can enjoy safe outdoor time, and I’m happy to crate your pup if requested for added structure and peace of mind. I’m equally comfortable providing calm, cozy care for cats, too—whether they’re playful or prefer a quiet corner to nap and feel secure. I love taking dogs on gentle walks through Holbrook-Palmer Park, Redwood Shores Baylands, or even along the beaches of Half Moon Bay—and I’d be thrilled to bring your furry companion along for some fresh air and connection with nature. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I adapt to each animal’s unique needs and personality. If your companion is senior, recovering, on medication, or simply prefers cuddles and quiet time, I’m honored to provide the kind of nurturing, respectful care that helps them feel safe, loved, and truly at ease.

I always appreciate when pet parents share as much information as possible upfront—this helps build mutual trust and ensures I can provide the highest level of care. Challenging surprises can sometimes compromise my ability to commit to excellence, so transparency is truly appreciated. If you request a meet and greet, I’ll do my best to schedule it promptly. It’s incredibly helpful to have a typed list of instructions or a bullet-pointed summary, which I’ll use as a reference to make sure all of your preferences and your pet’s needs are honored. Here’s what I’d love to know: • Feeding schedule, quantity, and any special dietary needs • Medication instructions, if applicable • Preferred walk times and routines (or litter box habits for cats) • Favorite toys, activities, or enrichment preferences • Any behavioral quirks or triggers (e.g., fear of loud noises, reactivity) • How your pet gets along with other animals, children, or strangers • Crate use, sleeping setup, or furniture rules • Vet info and emergency contact details • Any past injuries, chronic conditions, or age-related needs • Specific commands, cues, or training language you use • Any household rules I should be aware of (e.g., doors, alarms, feeding order) The more I know, the better I can care for your furry loved one with the consistency and compassion they deserve.

Your pet can truly have it all with me—whether that means cozy indoor play, gentle neighborhood strolls, or energizing outdoor adventures. If your dog prefers or needs low-impact activities, we’ll enjoy quiet companionship, enrichment games, and calm play indoors. For puppies, rescues, or pets in training, I love practicing neighborhood walks, gentle leash work, and visiting places like Holbrook-Palmer Park or local dog parks for healthy socialization. For more energetic pups, I’m always happy to explore long walks or light hikes, including outings to the Redwood Shores Baylands or even the beaches of Half Moon Bay, depending on your dog’s needs and your preferences. For cats, I tailor care to their personality and preferences. Whether your feline friend loves active play with toys, birdwatching from a windowsill, or simply lounging with a calm companion nearby, I’m happy to create a peaceful, engaging environment that keeps them feeling safe and content. I’m also attentive to litter box habits, special feeding routines, and any subtle signals they might give about their needs. I strive to be intuitive and observant with every animal—paying close attention to mood, body language, and behavior. Your instructions always come first, and I’ll never push your pet beyond what’s healthy, safe, and comforting for them.

Compassionate Animal Lover
Experiencia en el cuidado de mascotas
Hi there! I’m an empathic and deeply compassionate animal lover with a lifetime of experience caring for a variety of beloved companions—cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, Guinea pigs, and even chinchillas. Animals have always held a sacred place in my heart and home. 💁 I use they/them pronouns—please be kind and respectful when communicating with and about me. Over the years, I’ve volunteered at the Napa Animal Shelter, walking dogs, fostered cats and kittens, and lovingly boarded pets of all shapes and sizes. I also volunteered at Dogs of Ella Sanctuary in Sri Lanka and cared for their very vulnerable population of 60 street dogs. I was blessed to share eight unforgettable years with my best friend, Susie Q, a soulful Puggle who crossed the rainbow bridge on 3/3/23 at age 15. She remains with me always—ask me about my memorial tattoo that carries a part of her. 🐾💪 Pet care isn’t my profession—it’s my passion. With a background that includes an MBA, corporate marketing, work in Real Estate and Digital Marketing, and now a heart-led career as a three times certified Sound Healer and Reiki Master, I also work as an importer/exporter of handmade treasures from India. These include: handmade Singing Bowls, Gongs, Brass Statues, Vintage Wall Art, Shilajeet, Custom Jewelry. ✨ I also offer Sound Healing and Reiki for pets, which can be especially supportive for anxiety, transitions, or aging companions. ✨ My style of care is grounded in reliability, respect, and routine. I aim to honor your pet’s existing schedule and daily rhythms (as much as my availability allows), so they feel safe, secure, and well-loved—even in your absence. I believe continuity and compassion are key, especially during times of change. For overnight stays (“House Sitting”), I provide regular potty breaks, feeding, companionship, and up to 60 minutes of dedicated walk time per full day (either one 60-minute walk or two 30-minute walks). Most pets are happiest with consistent, quality outings rather than marathon exercise sessions. If your dog thrives on additional or extended walks, I’m always happy to add those as separate bookings to ensure their needs are fully met. Friends, neighbors, and colleagues trust me with their fur babies time and time again—and now, you can too. 🫶 I proudly support LGBTQAI+ and BIPOC communities and, depending on the booking, I may be able to offer special rates for queer/trans folks, people of color, active military, and veterans. Please don’t hesitate to inquire (availability not guaranteed, but always considered with care). Feel free to reach out with any questions—I’d love to meet you and your furry family. With kindness and gratitude, Ian
