My name is Ian U and I love dogs and animals in general! I have been sitting/walking through Rover for a few years now, and volunteered at the Oregon Humane Society as dog walker before that. I grew up with a black lab/retriever mix named Emily as a family dog, and I just adopted the first dog of my adult life in December 2020! Her name is Sapphire, she's 8 years old, and she is a sweet pittie princess who might actually be a small hippopotamus. I love her to pieces! Because I have a dog of my own, I most likely can't stay overnight at your house unless maybe it's just for a night or two. But I'm happy to stop by several times a day and Sapphire is fine to chill at home during visits. I will never introduce our dogs without your permission/supervision. I also love cats! I am allergic, but not severely, plus there's always allergy medication! (Yay, science!) I look forward to meeting you and your animals!

I love to snuggle with and walk my dog. I spend every second that I can with her, and like to take her with me anytime I have somewhere to go that will accommodate. I feed her twice a day and give her lots of treats and kisses! I treat my clients' dogs like they're my own. Obviously I don't feed them whatever they want and I care for them as instructed by their owners, but I give them the same love, attention, and affection I give my own dog. All dogs are amazing and worthy of all the love!

Schedule
I work Monday-Friday until 6:30/7, except for Tuesdays, when I’m off at 2 PM. I can usually manage walks/visits before work (around 9/9:30 most days), as well as in the evening, but I usually can’t make midday jobs work. Saturdays and Sundays, I am typically mostly free!

- If they have any behaviors I should watch out for, or if they have a tendency to get a little rowdy/aggressive. I've never been bit by a dog (knock wood) and they all seem to love me, but if your dog is a little on the aggressive side and doesn't love everyone they meet, it might be a good idea to arrange a meet-and-greet prior.
