Hi! I'm Ian. I've had dogs for as long as I can remember. My first babysitter growing up on the farm was a German Sheppard named Mouse. I want you to know that your pet is having a good time with us! Expect daily picture and video updates of your pet's adventures on our four acre homestead. Daily activities include: lounging in the sun (or shade!), relaxing in front of the wood stove, splashing in the creek that borders our property, and exploring the many smells that living in the country has to offer, truck rides, and making sure the anything the kid drops on the floor is promptly cleaned up. Your dog will feel right at home, and you can relax knowing that your best friend is getting the attention and butt scratches they deserve.

Ian and his family watched my golden retriever last minute for a week while I was out of town. They sent daily pictures, and were quick to respond to all my questions. Oakley got along great with their family dog and kids!
Our experience was wonderful, Indiana was treated like family and is already looking forward to going back to spend more time with his new friends. The daily pictures were overflowing with so much love and happiness I knew he wouldn’t be taken better care of anywhere else. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Ian and his family took great care of our puppy while we were away. We received daily updates wirh pictures. Most importantly we were delayed getting home and she gad to stay an extra night, which was no problem. Would definitely recommend to others. Regards Ken schlageter

Schedule
I'm home all day on weekends, and usually by 4pm on weekdays while my wife is at home in the mornings until 9am and all day on Monday and Tuesday. Your best friend typically won't go more than 4 hours without seeing someone during the day.

Safety, trust & environment
I do not have a fenced yard, so your pet will be on a leash any time they go out with me. If they're still working on walking nicely on a leash, that's no problem!

A typical day
A typical day starts with a walk down to the creek to check for new smells, and deposit some of our own, followed by breakfast. Dinner is served in the evening and followed with another jaunt around the property, then a relaxing with head scratches on the couch or (weather permitting) porch swing, hammock, or next to the fire.
