Comfy safe house for your pooch
I’m recently retired and have cared for pet dogs in the family’s household for over 40 years, I recognise how important they are to you and the need for you to be comfortable to leave them in a strange place. I now live alone in a semi detached house with enclosed garden and driveway. Local parks and fields are a short walk away and I’m equally happy to drive your furry friend further afield if they travel well and enjoy a change of scenery. I offer a reliable and comfortable dog boarding service, where your dog can enjoy plenty of care, fuss and exercise in a home-from-home environment. I will provide you with regular updates and photos during their break with me. I currently look after my partners 2 small friendly rescue dogs on a ad hoc basis when she has to travel. Whether you’re going on holiday, away for work, or simply need some extra help, your dog will be treated like one of the family.

Ian is my lovely partner who is always willing to support me with dog care for my two little girls. He treats them with the utmost kindness and love, and is really tuned in to their needs (food, treats, walks, cuddles!). His home is lovely, clean, with full access for the doggies, in a quiet area, with great outdoor space which is very secure. He is very responsible, always ensuring that they are safe on their walks, being aware of any potential risks (i.e. cats/squirrels they might chase, other dogs they might not get along with) and will follow your instructions to the letter for their care and any special needs. There are several areas which he can take your dog for walkies close to home (two large parks) or for more of an adventure (i.e. Styal or Bruntwood). My dogs love being at his house, and the environment is calm and relaxed, which keeps them happy and I know that they are looked after beautifully by Ian!

I’m recently retired and currently have a flexible approach to day to day activities. I play golf occasionally, like to walk and have been doing some volunteer work too. The flexibility means I can work my schedule to align with your plans.

My house has a gated driveway and enclosed garden for dogs to wander around. My partner has 2 rescue dogs which visit and stay with me when she has to travel. They enjoy our walks to the local parks for exercise and sometimes a car ride further afield too.
