ian can care for
Availability
I keep a flexible pet care schedule so I can give each animal the focused attention they deserve. My availability shifts slightly from week to week, but I always update my calendar in advance and only take bookings I can fully commit to. Whether it’s a quick walk, a check-in visit, or an overnight stay in your home, I communicate clearly and follow through. Once I confirm a booking, I show up—on time, focused, and ready to meet your pet where they’re at.

In your home, I follow your routines exactly as requested. I pay close attention to gates, leashes, feeding instructions, and behavior cues. I respect your space and your pet’s comfort zone. My priority is to maintain the stability your pet relies on by keeping things familiar, safe, and consistent—so they can relax even while you're away. I don’t cut corners. You’ll get clear communication, dependable care, and peace of mind.
Information ian d. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has reactivity, guarding tendencies, separation anxiety, or medical needs—I'm happy to adjust. My preference is for breeds that are active, intelligent, and emotionally expressive, including pitbulls, shepherds, retrievers, and mixes. Dogs with strong personalities are welcome as long as we’re clear and honest about what works best for them. I respect their needs and never use one-size-fits-all handling.
A typical day
We’ll start with a short structured walk in the neighborhood to ease into the day, then head to a nearby park for sniffing, exploring, and some focused play—whether that’s fetch, tug, or practicing tricks. Back home, I offer quiet time, brain games, and gentle engagement so your dog doesn’t just get worn out—they feel safe and balanced. Every day is adjusted to meet their temperament and energy level.

Pet care experience
I’ve been around animals my entire life. Caring for dogs and cats has always been second nature to me—from energetic puppies to senior pets needing patience and consistency. I’ve raised multiple dogs from puppyhood through old age and have experience with rescue animals, behavioral quirks, and medical needs like oral medication and diet-sensitive care. What sets me apart is how seriously I take structure, trust, and the emotional needs of the our canine brothers and sisters. I pay close attention to body language, and make sure every pet feels safe and seen in my care.

Reviews
Ian is intelligent, kind-hearted, and incredibly dependable. He’s always had a natural connection with animals—gentle, patient, and attentive to their needs. Whether it’s playing, walking, feeding, or just keeping pets company, Ian shows up with care and responsibility. I’ve seen how much trust animals place in him, and it’s well-earned. He’s exactly the kind of person you’d want caring for your pets when you can’t be there.
Ian takes great care of my 2 labs! They are always super excited when he comes over for walks and they are super tired every time they get home.
