I grew up with at least 2 dogs in the house always, have cared for horses, cats, and dogs. I have 3 years experience dog sitting. I am unique in that I make it my focus to connect with each and every animal that I have the pleasure of meeting and or caring for. VISITS: I pride myself on giving your animal a fun time, making sure they do their business, and getting them back safe and sound. HOUSESITTING: I will respect your space and am flexible with the majority of requests.

In your home I will follow your method of caring for your animals as closely as I can to make the animals as if you are not even gone! The best way for me to get a feel of how you do things is through a pre-sit meetup.

We recently had the pleasure of having Ian stay at our home for eight days to care for our high-energy golden retriever, Rufus (1 year, 10 months), and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the start, Ian struck the perfect balance of being laid-back and easygoing, while also responsible and attentive to detail. His communication throughout our trip was excellent—we always felt informed without being overwhelmed. It was clear he took great care in making sure Rufus’s needs were met. We felt completely confident that our dog was in good hands, which allowed us to truly enjoy an stress-free vacation, and we came home to a happy, healthy pup. We wouldn’t hesitate to have Ian back in the future and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful pet sitter.

Ian provided great comfort in watching our new dog while we were away for the holidays. He followed instructions well, including administering medicine at needed times. He was also communicative and responded promptly. We were very happy that Ian was able to help us on short notice.
