I work from home full-time, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I take one dog a day so my dog has another dog to play with during the day. I’m home during the day for supervision, walks, and attention—not just quick check-ins. My dog gets multiple walks daily, and we spend a lot of time outside, whether that’s in the neighborhood or on nearby trails and open fields. We also occasionally meet up with other friendly dogs in the neighborhood for relaxed, supervised social time. I only take one client dog at a time so I can fully integrate them into our routine and provide consistent care.

Safety, trust & environment

I keep a clean, calm, and structured home where dogs are always supervised and treated like part of the routine. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time, and my dog is very friendly and well-adjusted. I’m selective about fit and only accept dogs that are well-behaved, non-aggressive, and comfortable around other dogs and my toddler. Because I only take one client dog at a time, everything stays controlled, safe, and low-stress, with plenty of attention and consistency throughout the day.

Information Ian C. would like to know about your pet

I like to understand each dog’s routine, temperament, and comfort level ahead of time to make sure it’s a good fit. It’s important to know how they are around other dogs, new environments, and young children, as well as their energy level, any training they have, and any behaviors to be aware of. I also ask about feeding schedules, sleeping habits, and anything that helps them feel more comfortable so I can keep their routine consistent.

A typical day

A typical day starts with a morning run, followed by 3–4 walks throughout the day. We spend a lot of time outside, whether that’s around the neighborhood or on nearby trails and open fields for exercise and exploration. Between outings, dogs relax at home, hang out, and settle into a calm, structured environment while I work. Depending on the dog, we may also have casual, supervised meetups with other friendly dogs in the neighborhood.

Pet care experience

I’ve taken care of dogs of all kinds since I was young, helping neighbors, friends, and family with walking, feeding, and general care. Now that I work from home full-time, I’m able to provide a consistent, structured environment throughout the day. My own dog is very well-trained, friendly, and active—we go on multiple walks daily, spend time outdoors, and stay on a regular routine. I only take one client dog at a time as I want to my dog to have another dog to play with during the day. Your dog will be well taken care of.

Ian was absolutely amazing, and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! From the start, he was super responsive, friendly, and made me feel completely at ease leaving my dog, Wilbur in his care. He provided consistent updates, photos, and messages, which meant so much and really helped me relax while I was away. It was clear Wilbur was happy, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention and love. Ian went above and beyond to stick to our routine and made sure everything was just right. You can truly tell he cares about what he does and treats your pet like his own. I would 100% recommend Ian to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, reliable, and kind. I’ll definitely be booking with him again!
