Growing up, my best and most faithful friend was my dog Gabby, a funny little Labrador Basset mix. She taught me a lot about life and always managed to cheer me up. She helped to make a soft spot in my heart for all varieties of dogs. I would even say that I’m a bit of a dog whisperer. One thing that may set me apart from other sitters is that I have almost two years of volunteer experience working with dogs at the humane society. I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs ranging from the tiniest and most timid, to some huge and unruly dogs. I am excellent at reading a dog’s body language and have a strong intuition to tell when it’s time to be cautious and slow, stern, or friendly and playful.
