I started taking care of neighborhood pets starting at a very young age. Mostly dogs and cats but I had some eclectic neighbors growing up and remember finding my young self even caring for llamas at one point. I have cares for a wide variety of dogs from young puppies full of energy to senior doggos who just love lounging and being loved. I don’t have a dog of my own currently but love having them around and love Rover for that reason.

Ihan was a wonderful sitter - he was willing to meet up beforehand, and he listened and was willing to take on some of my puppy’s behaviors—separation anxiety accidents in particular—that had caused some of my friends to politely decline. He was communicative, sent me a picture of my puppo during the stay, and I could tell she was well exercised and cared for! Thanks, Ihan!
Iain seemed really nice and had obviously taken my dog for routine walks. Great experience!
Iain is great with our dog! He comes over in the middle of the day to walk him and give him the attention that he needs, its amazing! I would recommend Iain to anyone that is looking for a good dog walker. He has been walking our dog for the past year and we think he does a great job.
Iain is a wonderful person and is terrific with animals. My dog Bingo loves him and gets so excited when he sees Iain that sometimes I get a little jealous!
Iain has pet sit and walked my dog multiple times. There are honestly few people that my dog gets so excited to see. Iain has always been reliable and most importantly safe. I rest easy knowing that Iain has my dog!

Schedule
Pet care is very important to me and right now I am working from home so my schedule is very open for me to be around pets for most of the day.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a condo right down the street from university lake dog park in anchorage and I make sure to always have them leashes up when I leave for walks each day. I have no problem letting your pet have free range to the condo if I am out running errands during the day and make sure to let them out to go potty first thing upon returning home.

A typical day
While staying with me I’d endure that your pet would get out on at least two very nice walks each day. One in the morning and one at night. I live down the street from university lake and have taken dogs there in the past from my condo. If they enjoy hiking I like to have a hiking buddy and it would be fun for me to have your pet tag along.

- I would like to know if your pet is aggressive towards any other pets or humans. If they like to be off leash at all that would be nice to know too! If they do well by themselves for short periods of the day and don’t chew furniture or walls would also be a good thing to find out before boarding any dogs in my home!
