A caring home for our canine guests
Hyesun & Bob We have a very welcoming home right by the harbor. Besides Hyesun and Bob, we also have two daughters, who are in college. They lend a hand when they are home on vacation, and like us, adore dogs. We have a beautiful house and yard in which your dogs can feel at home. This is a dog-friendly neighborhood, with a lovely waterfront park nearby. We can take your pets most days and provide them with a welcoming home away from home. Why I love dog sitting Hyesun and Bob have grown up with dogs. We don't have a dog in our house and so we enjoy having the time with them as guests, while still having our independence. We don't have any pets in our home. About my yard We do have a beautiful backyard, but it is not fenced in. During the warmer months, we have runners so that our canine guests can be outdoors with us while we work in our garden. My experience administering medication We have many years of experience providing meds to our visiting pups.

I am so lucky to find Hyesun and Bob, they took such a great care of our old dog Papi. We were out of country for 6 weeks, and I could tell that Papi was so happy during his stay at Hyesun's place. Thank you so much for hosting Papi!

I have nothing but great things to say about Cooper’s stay with Hyesun and Bob! I truly feel like Cooper was welcomed in as part of the family while staying with them, especially over the holiday. He came back happy and content, which tells me that he also felt at ease in their home. I will definitely be bringing Cooper back to them :)
This was Lulu’s second stay with Bob and Hyesun, and it was wonderful. Lulu was happy, well cared for, and completely relaxed when we picked her up. Highly recommend!
Hyesun and her husband were very thorough. They took inventory of all my dogs belongings (and made sure they came home with me!) and gave me a full update on my dog's stay!
Hyesun and Bob are caring, responsible, and responsive and our dog Ringo loves staying with them!

Schedule
Robert retired from his academic work at a nearby university and now manages a nonprofit organization from home. Hyesun works as a research scientist but works from home most days as well. So our guests have plenty of human company during their stays.

Safety, trust & environment
We are usually at home with our dog guests. Our back yard is not enclosed. However, our backyard has a nice garden with a long runner and we have an enclosed deck. During walks, dogs are always on a leash.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks We tend to walk them around the block and take them to a small park overlooking the harbor. Regarding your dog's sleeping arrangement, they will stay most of the time in our large kitchen which is the heart of the home. We have radiant heating there, which means that the floor in the kitchen is generally warm and cozy in the cool weather and in the hot weather, we turn on the air conditioning. In some occasions, if a dog is accustomed to sleeping in their owners' room, we may let them sleep on the floor in our bedroom. Time we spend with your dog: With few exceptions, either Hyesun or Bob is 24/7. They will get a minimum of three walks per day or more, depending on the routine the dogs have at home.
