When I pet sit for people I like to meet with the animals first to make sure it will work out. I then will ask for a list of things that are needed to make the transition of the pet parents being gone easier on the pet.

A typical day
When I let the dogs out to use the bathroom, after they go I will play with them for a little bit so they can get their energy out and play around. With cats I will play with their toys with them so they can be active through the day in a different way than they’re used to.

I have grown up with different types of dogs and cats. I started at 15 years old to pet sit for family and friends. I helped train three different puppies before they went to their forever homes.
