Pet care experience

Dog Mom with all the love

I’ve spent the last five and a half years being a proud "paw-rent" to my Welsh Pembroke Corgi, Leo. Raising him from a tiny puppy taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and, of course, a lot of belly rubs! In addition to my life with Leo, I’ve spent the past few years caring for my friends' dogs and cats, ensuring they stay happy and healthy while their humans are away. To better understand my furry friends, I’ve also completed a series of dog training classes, which helps me manage different personalities and energy levels with confidence and care.

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

My goal is to make every pet feel like a member of the family rather than a guest. In your home: I respect your space and prioritize maintaining your pet's existing routine to minimize any anxiety. Whether it’s playing with their favorite toys or just sitting nearby so they don't feel lonely, I focus on "quality time" to ensure they feel loved and secure until you return. In my home: I provide a safe, calm environment where pets can relax while I work. I follow your specific feeding and medication schedules to the letter and ensure there’s plenty of supervised "office time" together.

This was a last-minute booking and she was super accommodating—even did a quick meet and greet which I really appreciated. Communication was great the whole time and made everything feel easy. She took great care of Taco and was really patient with him, which meant a lot. He came back happy and relaxed. Her dog Leo is also great and very friendly, so that was a nice bonus. Would definitely book with her again!

I’ve known Hui for 5 years, and she has always been amazing with animals. She is patient, loving, and very attentive to details like feeding schedules and routines. She sends great updates and goes above and beyond to make sure pets feel safe and happy. Any pet owner would be lucky to have her watching their fur babies!

Schedule

Since I work remotely from home, pet care isn't just a hobby—it’s a natural part of my day! Your pet will have my company throughout the morning and afternoon while I work. I’m fully available for walks and play breaks during my lunch hour and have extra flexibility in the afternoons. Once the clock hits 5:30 PM, I am completely "off the clock" and dedicated to giving your pet 100% of my attention for long walks, park visits, or cozy snuggles on the couch.

To give your pet the best possible care, I’d love to know a few things before our first Meet & Greet: Health & Safety: Are they up to date on vaccinations and flea/tick prevention? Do they have any allergies or take daily medications? Routine: What are their typical feeding times and portions? For dogs, how often do they need potty breaks? Behavior & Quirks: How do they react to other dogs, cats, or strangers on walks? Are there any specific triggers I should know about (like thunder, sirens, or doorbells)? Training & Commands: What words do you use for "sit," "stay," or "no"? I want to keep their training consistent! House Rules: Are they allowed on the furniture or the bed? Do they have any favorite "off-limits" spots? Cat Specifics: Where is their favorite hiding spot if they get shy? What is their preferred litter scooping schedule?
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
