I’m a full-time pet sitter with years of experience caring for dogs and cats with different personalities, routines, and needs. I grew up with a German Shepherd and have been around animals for most of my life. I’m especially comfortable with dogs who need extra patience and attention, including anxious or shy dogs, high-energy pups, dogs with separation anxiety, and pets who are nervous during storms or changes in routine. I take the time to understand what makes each pet feel safe and comfortable and follow the routines they already know. Since I pet sit full time, I have the flexibility to provide plenty of walks, playtime, companionship, and one-on-one attention. I also send regular photos and updates because I know how important it is to feel confident about who you’re leaving your pet with. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, loved, and at home while you’re away.

Hugo is THE BEST. A phenomenal dog sitter for any need! He has taken care of my sweet Ollie numerous times ranging from single day care to a duration of 10+ days. Schedule
Pet care is a major part of my daily schedule, so I have plenty of flexibility for walks, feeding, playtime, medication schedules, potty breaks, and one-on-one attention throughout the day. I can accommodate early mornings, daytime care, evenings, weekends, and extended stays. For boarding and house sitting, I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. If they’re used to a morning walk, breakfast at a certain time, an afternoon potty break, dinner, and a bedtime routine, that’s what we’ll do. I’m also happy to provide additional walks and activity for higher-energy dogs.

Your pet’s safety and comfort come first. Whether I’m caring for them in my home or yours, I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications, crates, sleeping arrangements, and household routines. I’m comfortable caring for anxious, shy, high-energy, and easily overstimulated dogs. I understand that thunderstorms, separation, unfamiliar surroundings, other dogs, or changes in routine can be stressful. I pay attention to body language and behavior and give dogs the space, reassurance, exercise, or quiet time they need. I also provide regular photo and message updates, so you’re never left wondering how your pet is doing.
A typical day
Every day is built around your pet’s normal routine, personality, and energy level. A typical day might include a morning potty break and walk, breakfast, playtime or enrichment, some downtime, an afternoon walk, dinner, and an evening walk before settling in for the night. For high-energy dogs, I’m happy to incorporate longer walks, multiple outings, games, toys, and other activities to keep them stimulated. For older, shy, or lower-energy pets, we can keep things slower with shorter walks, companionship, lounging, and plenty of attention. I don’t believe every dog needs the same type of day. I adjust activities based on what makes your pet happiest and most comfortable.

- The more I know about your pet, the better I can recreate their normal routine. Please tell me about feeding and medication schedules, typical walk times, energy level, sleeping arrangements, commands, crate routines, allergies, medical needs, and any favorite toys or activities. I’d also like to know about anything that makes them anxious or uncomfortable, including thunderstorms, separation anxiety, other dogs, strangers, loud noises, resource guarding, or specific triggers. If your pet has any behavioral quirks, please tell me upfront. It doesn’t automatically mean I can’t care for them. It helps me understand how to make them feel safe and set us both up for a successful stay. I’d also add medication administration prominently to your service/profile options if Rover gives you that checkbox. Since you’re comfortable handling medication schedules, anxiety, and more involved routines, that differentiates you from someone offering basic walks and feeding.
