Retired couple pet lovers.
Sitting your dog is not a "side hustle" for us as it is for so many. We don't do house-sitting, drop-in visits, door dash, or drive for Uber. We just have a love for all dogs and will never leave your dog alone! On your first visit, you will be invited into our home to see where your doggy will be staying, and then watch your pup meet our dogs in our beautiful back yard. Of course, your welcome to come by anytime to visit or pick your pup up for any dog friendly outings that Big Bear has to offer. We're both retired and have had dogs our whole lives and we want to treat yours as family members. Hugh is a retired Fire Captain/EMT instructor experienced in Dog CPR, and Mary is a retired owner of an air freight forwarding company. We are very close to Snow Summit and the Village!! We'd love to have your doggy join our family!

Incredible team that loves dogs. We dropped Indie off for the first time and she LOVED it! We received photos and updates throughout the daugh and Mary!! Indie will be back for a day of fun in the very near future.
Hugh and Mary were such a great find for us during our vacation in Big Bear. We were able to bring our little Winston with us most places but wanted to be able to leave him somewhere for the day when we knew we would be out and about. They sent photos which definitely put me at ease and showed me Winston was having a great time :). We will use them again when we come back to Big Bear!
Hugh and Mary took great care of our pup Harley! They are very loving people and have a nice place for the pups to play. Highly recommended! Thank you!
Winston always enjoys himself at Hugh and Mary’s house. They are both very loving and keep a close watch on their doggie guests. They send updates and pictures throughout the stay, to keep the fur baby “parents” ‘in the loop.’ To me, it isn’t how happy Winston looks when I pick him up to go home that matters (He is always happy to see me). It’s how happy he is when I leave him with sitters. And, he is always relaxed and happy to find that he’s at Hugh and Mary’s house. Thank you, Hugh and Mary! 💕

We are retired and one of us is always available for your dog. We will NEVER leave your dog alone! We have plenty of time on our hands and would love to have yours become part of our family

We have a beautiful fenced back yard and a cozy warm house and your pet will have the run of it all, beds and couches included. We have a large crate if ever needed. Our home is between Snow Summit and the Village.
Un día normal
Lots of back and tummy rubs are a daily staple in our home. We have a big 6' fenced back yard that all dogs love to play in. We have 2 doggy doors so your pup can go in and out as they please. Our dogs will teach them how to use them! We carve out a "doggy racetrack" that winds around our back yard when there's lots of snow and the doggies love it! You're welcome to bring your doggies bed, but most of our guests much prefer to sleep with us in our beds.
