We have a beautiful fenced back yard and a cozy warm house and your pet will have the run of it all, beds and couches included. We have a large crate if ever needed. Our home is between Snow Summit and the Village.

Please let us know if your dog has any special needs. We only accept dogs that are friendly with people and other dogs when they are off leash. Don't confuse that if your doggie displays signs of aggression while on leash between other dogs. That is very common, as is a quick growl, saying "give me a few minutes until I get to know you". We need to know your dog's dietary needs.

Lots of back and tummy rubs are a daily staple in our home. We have a big 6' fenced back yard that all dogs love to play in. We have 2 doggy doors so your pup can go in and out as they please. Our dogs will teach them how to use them! We carve out a "doggy racetrack" that winds around our back yard when there's lots of snow and the doggies love it! You're welcome to bring your doggies bed, but most of our guests much prefer to sleep with us in our beds.

Sitting your dog is not a "side hustle" for us as it is for so many. We don't do house-sitting, drop-in visits, door dash, or drive for Uber. We just have a love for all dogs and will never leave your dog alone! On your first visit, you will be invited into our home to see where your doggy will be staying, and then watch your pup meet our dogs in our beautiful back yard. Of course, your welcome to come by anytime to visit or pick your pup up for any dog friendly outings that Big Bear has to offer. We're both retired and have had dogs our whole lives and we want to treat yours as family members. Hugh is a retired Fire Captain/EMT instructor experienced in Dog CPR, and Mary is a retired owner of an air freight forwarding company. We are very close to Snow Summit and the Village!! We'd love to have your doggy join our family!

Mary and Hugh are the best. Our dogs love being there and hanging out with the other pooches. They come back home happy and tired!
Mary and Hugh are great. I never worry about Breeze while she is with them. They send messages and photos and are flexible with pick up times. I highly recommend their services.
Mary and Hugh are the best dog sitters in big bear! They let the dogs have free roam of the house, sleep on the beds! They treat them awesome as their own! They are great with our two big labs and have them their meds and food just like we would!
Hugh & Mary were absolutely amazing! It was my 1st time using a Rover, for my pup & I couldn't of felt more secure booking them. After having a traumatizing experience in the past, they eased my doubt with pictures & videos, reassuring my heavy heart! Will always & forever book them when in Big Bear! ❤️🩷
