I have been a volunteer at the Berkeley Animal Care Services animal shelter for 2 years, and absolutely love interacting with the dogs and cats there. I’m a runner who ran cross country and track in high school and I would love to take your dog on a run if you and your dog would like that. I also grew up with pets and currently have a dog and cat at home.

I take safety seriously and have been trained by the Berkeley Animal Care Services animal shelter volunteer program to ensure a safe experience for your dog. On walks or runs my approach is to give other dogs space and never assume they are friendly even though many are.

Huck was our cat sitter during our long summer weekend trip. Our cats had special medication and food needs and Huck was very attentive and caring. He communicated regularly and provided photos to us to show what the kitties were up to. When we came home, the house was clean and the cats were healthy and well fed. I would hire Huck again as he did a great job on this pet sitting job and he was really dependable.
I hired Huck again, and as ever, he did a wonderful job caring for my furbaby while I was away. He was kind to my home and to my kitty, followed my instructions closely, and even helped put flea medication on her. Thank you!

Huckleberry did a great job looking after my baby, following instructions well, being respectful of my place, and best of all being a good friend to my cat when she was lonely. The quick responsiveness was so awesome, especially when I unexpectedly needed the autofeeder refilled mid-trip. Highly recommended!

I had an unexpected time crunch, and I needed someone to walk my dog while I was away from home for 7 hours. Huckleberry was dependable and capable, and my dog clearly enjoyed being with him. Definitely recommend him.

I’m very flexible and able to walk or pet sit when you need me to. I can easily work around your schedule and I’m happy to accommodate what your pet needs. I can do short and long walks, as well as runs, as well as pet sit for any amount of time.

- Any specific needs of a pet would be nice to know ahead of time. Whether or not the I would be taking your dog on a run would be good to know as well. Other than that most things can be discussed at your convenience.
