I work a full-time job during the week, but pet care is built into my daily routine — mornings before work and evenings after are dedicated to walks, feeding, and playtime. I’m fully available for boarding and daycare on weekends, and since I live on-site at my property full-time, dogs in my care are never left alone for long stretches. Because my schedule is steady and predictable, your dog gets consistent care at the same times every day — not rushed, last-minute visits.

About Howard W.
Safety, trust & environment
My property is rural and spacious, giving dogs plenty of room to roam safely away from traffic and busy streets. I have two friendly, well-socialized resident dogs who are used to welcoming new dogs into the pack. For dogs who need crate time or a calmer introduction, I have XL crates set up specifically for large and giant breeds. With 15+ years of professional experience in behavioral health and crisis intervention, I’m trained to catch stress and anxiety cues early — so small issues get handled before they become big ones.

Information Howard W. would like to know about your pet
“Before any booking, I need to know the full picture — no surprises, no exceptions. Please share: Health & Medical: Current vaccines, any medications (dosage and schedule), allergies, recent illnesses, or veterinary concerns. All boarding and daycare dogs must be current on rabies, distemper, and Bordetella. Behavior & Temperament: Any history of aggression toward people or other dogs, resource guarding, separation anxiety, leash reactivity, or fear triggers. I work well with complicated dogs — but only when I know what I’m walking into. Routine: Feeding schedule, portion sizes, dietary restrictions, and any foods they absolutely cannot have. Special Needs: Senior dog accommodations, mobility issues, post-surgery care, or anxiety protocols you’ve already established at home. Emergency Info: Your vet’s name and number, plus an emergency contact who can make medical decisions if you’re unreachable. Honesty upfront protects your dog. I would
A typical day
“A day at my place starts with a morning check-in — feeding, fresh water, and a potty break as soon as we’re up. From there, dogs get structured outdoor time in the yard: sniffing, exploring, and decompressing at their own pace. Midday is calm time — crate rest or quiet downtime depending on the dog’s personality. Afternoons bring another outdoor session, some one-on-one engagement, and a walk or leash work for dogs who benefit from it. Evenings wind down with a final potty break, feeding if scheduled, and settle time before bed. Every dog gets daily photo and video updates sent to their owner — no news is NOT good news on my watch.”

Pet care experience
I bring 15+ years of professional experience in crisis intervention and behavioral health to every dog in my care — which means I’m especially good at reading stress, anxiety, and behavioral cues that other sitters might miss. I live on a spacious rural property with two resident dogs of my own, plenty of room to run, and XL crates set up for large and giant breeds. I’m confident and calm handling big, strong dogs, and I treat every pup like part of the family while they’re with me. Whether your dog needs a quiet, structured space or some extra patience working through anxiety, I’ve got both the background and the room to make it happen.
