I grew up with a German Shepherd who was part of my family for 11 years, so caring for dogs has always felt natural to me. Over the years, I’ve gained 50+ experiences in dog walking and sitting, working with a variety of breeds including Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds, French Bulldogs, Huskies, Bichons, Cockapoos, Doodles, Cairn Terriers, and lots of mixed breeds. Beyond city walks, I’ve also cared for dogs while traveling — staying with them on boats, in trailers, cottages, valleys, and on farms. These experiences taught me that no matter the environment, people give their pets deep love and care. I’ve always felt honored to be trusted with someone’s home and their beloved pet, and I take that responsibility seriously. I believe dogs and their owners often reflect one another, and caring for a dog is also a meaningful way for me to understand the family behind them. I take time to learn each dog’s personality, needs, and daily routines, and I do my best to make sure they feel comfortable and well cared for when their parents are unavailable. I’m fully vaccinated and physically fit, comfortable walking in all weather conditions as your dog needs, and always focused on making sure your dog feels safe, relaxed, and loved.

My dog always had a great time walking with Houping, coming home tired and happy. She is reliable, punctual, and easy to communicate with. She sent photos and videos to keep me updated, which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend her.

Schedule
I'm available on weekdays, holidays and weekends and I will have a roommate to help out during the last two weeks of each month, so there is always someone at home to provide companionship, potty breaks, and supervision.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a safety bell, leashes, poop bags, and treats for walking. Pet first aid certified and dog walking liability insured. Walking services include feeding, checking water bowl, wiping paws after rain, mud or snow, sending reports after the walk and other special requests. I will follow each dog’s established routine clearly, including feeding schedules, walking routes, exercise needs, and medication and dietary instructions, and behavioral guidelines. I am committed to maintaining clean, organized environments in clients’ homes, and I show strong respect for clients' property and privacy. I’m quick to respond by text or email and will keep owners updated with photos and messages.
A typical day
I live near Earl Bales Park, so if your dog is staying with me, we can enjoy walks and outdoor time there. I have a fenced backyard, no kids or other pets, so your dog will have a calm, safe environment with plenty of attention and care. There will be only one dog staying at a time. If I’m sitting at your home, I’ll take your dog on walks around the neighborhood or to their favorite nearby parks, following their usual routine as much as possible. I make sure they get lots of exercise, affection, and companionship.
