Hi! I’m TJ (they/he) Since joining Rover in 2022, I’ve cared for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, multi-pet households, and even a bearded dragon. I also have two cats of my own and regularly care for 3 dogs and 4 cats during the week, so pet care is already a big part of my everyday life. Through my experience, I’ve developed a thoughtful and adaptable approach to caring for pets with different personalities, comfort levels, and energy levels. Whether that means keeping up with feeding routines, fresh water, potty breaks, litter box care, playtime, treats, or helping a pet settle down and feel comfortable, I always try to adjust my care to each pet’s individual needs. I also have experience with overnight stays and caring for both dogs and cats in the same home. I pay close attention to behavior and routine, keep the environment clean and low-stress, and communicate with owners if anything comes up so I can care for their pets the way they prefer. I do work late nights most of the week, but I strive to keep my schedule as flexible as possible :) I approach every booking with the same care and dedication I’d want for my own pets, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. Please note that while my legal name appears on my profile, I prefer to go by TJ. I’m excited to meet your pets and provide them with personalized, dependable care!

TJ was very nice and easy to work with. They were very accommodating when I had to modify drop off/pickup times. I got photo updates of my cat and she was in good spirits when I picked her up.
TJ is so good with our dog and beardie!! They’re happy and healthy when we get home. The house always looks great, and TJ pays attention to all of the detailed instructions very well. Can’t wait to schedule them again!!

TJ was absolutely amazing! They took such wonderful care of Arya and treated her like their own. I felt completely at ease the entire time because they were so thoughtful and attentive. TJ kept me constantly updated, sending photos of Arya all the time, answering all my questions right away, and making sure I always knew how she was doing. Arya looked so happy and comfortable with them, which meant the world to me. On top of that, they took incredible care of my home. Everything was spotless, organized, and truly beyond what I expected. Their responsibility, communication, and kindness really stood out. I honestly cannot say enough good things about TJ. I am more than pleased and will absolutely keep them as my go-to sitter anytime Arya needs care. I would HIGHLY recommend TJ to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, thoughtful, and genuinely wonderful with pets and homes. I have two cats of my own, so I know how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and secure in their environment. Caring for them is part of my everyday routine, from feeding and fresh water to litter box care, attention, and making sure they feel at ease in their space. I’ve also been regularly caring for 3 dogs and 4 cats during the week since July 2025, so I understand the importance of following each pet’s routine carefully and providing dependable, attentive care while their owners are away.

A typical day with the pets I watch depends on their routine and personality, but I always aim to make their day feel safe, comfortable, and engaging. For dogs, that usually includes meals, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, treats, and affection, along with paying attention to their behavior so I can help them feel settled and cared for. For cats, I make sure food and water are taken care of, litter boxes are kept clean, and I offer playtime, treats, and attention in a way that matches their comfort level. I always try to keep pets on their normal routine as much as possible while giving them the care, patience, and enrichment they need.
