I have been taking care of dogs and cats practically my entire life. I am retired, have a house, fenced in yard, and currently have adopted two 13 year old dogs, one being blind. I have an extreme amount of patience and very attentive to an animals needs.

This was my first time using Rover.com. Hope was great with my almost 17 year old Jack Russell while my family was away for 6 days. She met with me and my dog in advance of booking. I could tell he liked her right away. She kept the house neat and clean if he made any messes. Communication was great. There would be no hesitation to have Hope care for my dog in the future!
Hope was an excellent cat sitter for my baby Ellie while I was away. She was friendly, communicative, and I came home to a happy girl. Thank you, Hope!

I am so thankful that Hope agreed to sit Finnley last minute. He is sometimes a difficult dog to deal with and he was so good with her and she made me feel so at peace that he wasn’t giving her a hard time and she was so happy to love him. She took him on many walks and really treated him like her own. I really hope that she gets to watch Finnley in the future, she also was able to get into my apartment complex, which is sometimes very confusing super easily and not caused me any stress !

Schedule
My entire focus will be on your pet. From morning till evening my attention is on the pet. Being I care for a special need dog, I have to be focused on what is happening in my home.

Safety, trust & environment
I follow instructions as provided. My home is new, one level and set up as a safe environment for the pets. I have a spacious, fenced in backyard. My pets are never left out there alone. I am always with them.

A typical day
If your pet is able to take frequent walks or they are accustomed to a specific routine with you I will be more than happy to follow your instructions. I know they miss you when your home so if I can stick to your routine perhaps they won’t feel disrupted.
