The Perfect Dog hotel at my house!
*** Please don't send me requests for dates if you see my calendar is already blocked off with those dates & PLEASE READ MY ENTIRE PROFILE BEFORE BOOKING *** I keep my calendar up to date so use other dates if Rover insists you must pick dates for sitting in order for a message to go thru** Also, if booking for day care, after 4 hours of a stay, this is going to get the full day rate because I do not take multiple dogs I am also charging for 3 days when it's a weekend if the dog is coming early on Friday and going home on Sunday because I can't have a dog for 3 days and only get paid for 2 days. I have only raised my rate by $1-2 since Covid & take one family of dogs at a time. Please respond back to all messages if you reach out. Thx. ** I am trying to take dogs now under 50 pounds, very small/small to medium preferred. It would be very helpful if you list the specific breed of your dog too and give details. No aggressive breeds taken, sorry, no Pitbulls.

Hope was an amazing dog sitter for my Shiba Inu. Her space is clean, dog friendly both inside the house and outside with a fenced backyard, plus she is very friendly and loving towards the animals. She checked in multiple times per day with pictures and progress reports on eating/activity/and using the bathroom when hosting my pet. Rest assured that your pet will be in great hands with Hope. Hope took very good care of our dog Callie. It was nice that she only cares for one dog at a time. Hope is excellent at communicating and giving photo updates. She has a nice big back yard for plenty of outside time. Highly recommend for dog sitting.
Hope is a great sitter and was truly a pleasure to work with! Our pup, Nubya, enjoyed going out in the beautiful backyard and for walks around the neighborhood meeting Hope's neighbors. I really appreciated the regular updates with photos throughout the day. We will definitely have Hope watch Nubya again!
Hope is an angel, she took such great care of our golden retriever girl. Its great to have a place you can leave your pet without any worries!
Hope was wonderful and loving to our puppy. She sent lots of pictures and was great about communicating throughout the stay. She was understanding about Mochi’s frequent needs to go outside for potty breaks as she is still house training. I highly recommend her and would book again!

Schedule
My husband and I both work from home as my only job is caring for the dogs staying at my house. It is nice because someone is always here and the dogs get a ton of attention.

My name is Hope Landow-Schnur and I adore dogs. I raised my own dogs for over 14+ years - Bailey and Jango. Everyone that knows me, knows that I am the ultimate pet lover and treated my dogs as well as my children. We have a nice home in River Vale, NJ with a huge 6' high fenced in yard. I am married with triplets - 22 years old and they love playing with our guest dogs. I have my own big crate set up (only if you crate your dog) and ready to welcome your dog(s) into my home when you need to be away overnight or for an extended period of time. I will do my best to keep your treasured pet on their own schedule with feedings, playtime and time outside running around the back yard or if you prefer, walks only. I've made floor dogs into lap dogs, they get extra spoiled with me! You will also get lots of photos & updates when you are away. I just recently changed my setting to small to medium dogs if you are a repeat customer and can not find me on line. I'm also available for dog day care in my home if my calendar is free. After 6 hours, it is considered a full rate instead of the daily rate if you plan to leave your dog with me. Looking forward to hearing from you & I respond back promptly! Thanks. Hope
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks I live in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Your dog can either run around in my fully fenced back yard or for the smaller dogs especially, we can take nice walks around the block and there's a Historical Park at the top of my block that dogs love to be walked in. Your dog's sleeping arrangement The dog will sleep in what we call the dog's room. I have a large crate set up if anyone needs it and there's plenty of floor space for blankets, towels, your dog bed if you are providing it to me for your dogs stay. There are glass doors so they can look outside, nice bright and sunny room. We've had some of the smaller dogs sleeping in our bedroom or my kid's rooms if they can't be alone in a dog bed or I'll put blankets down on the floor. Time I'll spend with your dog I am home a lot, my husband works from home as well. There is rarely a time when one of us isn't at home. I love having the guest dogs sit next to me when I'm at my desk & most of them follow me all over the house!
