Hi! I’m Hope. Originally from Wisconsin and now living on LA’s west side, I’ve always been a huge dog lover. I grew up with a black Lab and have yet to meet any dog I didn’t adore. My friends joke that dogs naturally gravitate toward me. After caring for so many Rover client dogs, I finally decided to get my own! I have an adorable golden retriever named Zeppelin at home who loves all animals and all humans. He loves playing and hanging out with his animal friends. Taking care of dogs is fun for me, but it’s even more enjoyable for him. As a dog mom, I understand the importance of leaving your fur baby with someone you can trust. It’s a huge deal, and even more of a big deal for your dog. I’m happy to do meet and greets and ensure it’s a good fit for your baby. Whether we’re going for walks, playing fetch, exploring new smells, or heading to the beach, I make sure dogs get plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and attention throughout the day. If your pup enjoys the sand, there’s a good chance we’ll spend time at the beach tossing a ball, going for walks, and soaking up the sunshine together. However, if your dog does better inside, we can absolutely do that too. Basically, it’s your dog’s world and I’m just living in it! 🥰 I work remotely, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to provide plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. Dogs in my care receive a minimum of two 30-minute walks daily, along with additional outdoor time, enrichment activities, and lots of affection. My apartment is spacious, pet-friendly, and located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Whether your dog loves adventures or prefers cuddling on the couch, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and right at home. I’m a great communicator and will always keep you updated while you’re away. Please let me know about any routines, preferences, or special needs your dog has! I want to make their stay as enjoyable as possible.

Wow, Hope is just fantastic! She really treats her Rover dogs like her own, and even using her for the very first time I felt like I could trust her with Maisy right from the start. She sent pupdates daily, with pictures and lots of details that made me know exactly how attentive she was to even notice certain things, and gave Maisy so many fun outings and experiences to make sure she had the best time. We love Hope and will for sure be coming back!!

Hope sent us lots of pictures and it was so clear from them just how much our anxious, antisocial dog absolutely adored her. Honestly, I think Beau loves Hope while he merely tolerates us.

Hope is hands-down the best dog sitter we have ever found! She took absolutely incredible care of Bleu. Not only did she make sure he got his daily walks but she also went above and beyond by taking him on some amazing adventures—including trips to the beach and even out to lunch! Hope kept us completely at ease by sending tons of updates and photos throughout his stay. It was so clear that Bleu was having the time of his life and being treated like family. He was incredibly happy and relaxed when he got home, and we know he is going to miss her terribly. If you want complete peace of mind and a sitter who will truly spoil your pup, hire Hope! We will definitely be booking with her again.

Schedule
I’m available for walks and dog care anytime between 8:00 am and 10:00 pm. I have a ton of flexibility during the work day since I’m a remote worker. I ensure dogs get out for a minimum of two 30 minute walks and plenty of potty breaks.

My apartment is a spacious and pet-friendly space located in a safe, peaceful residential area. They’re always welcome on the furniture inside. Whether they love lounging on the couch or enjoying outdoor time, your pet will definitely feel right at home with me 🥰

A typical day
I’m an active girl! I get at least 15K steps per day, so your dog will be well exercised by the time they leave me. I also love playing with dogs, and will definitely keep them entertained! Dogs also love hanging out with me while I work, and they can cuddle up right next to me on the couch.
