My love for dogs started as a child with my first puppy in Cincinnati, Ohio. It continued as I grew and traveled onto Houston, TX, where I volunteered at a no kill shelter. This shelter took special needs dogs that a regular shelter couldn’t take care of and dedicated resources to making sure they found a loving and providing home. It was there that I gained an appreciation for caring for all dogs with all needs. It was also there that I found my current puppy, Loretta, a special needs black lab and beagle mix. I started out fostering her but quickly realized that she was the perfect companion and adopted her soon after. We moved here to Virginia not only to explore the cold and the mountains but to provide love and care for your dog.

Hope was great with our pup! Maya came home happy and tired from having a playmate all weekend. She sent daily photos and updates which helped us stay connected.

Hope was available on short notice and worked with us on drop off an pick up. Biscuit had a good time and came home happy.
Hope was incredible! I cannot say enough good things about her. She was super sweet to both us and our quite timid Italian greyhound, Enzo. Although Enzo can be really slow to warm up to strangers, it was clear that he was comfortable with her quickly. This was our first time using Rover, so we weren’t sure what to expect, but we were so pleasantly surprised with how Hope sent pictures and kept us updated that Enzo was doing well. It was so reassuring to know he was in good hands! We will definitely come back!
Hope was the absolute best! She watched Ollie during our wedding weekend and although it was her first time, it seemed like she has been watching him for years. He was so comfortable with her and she was so responsive with us, sending tons of pictures. We don’t live in the area but if we did we would use her every time!!
Hope did a great job looking in on my cats while I was on vacation.

Schedule
I’m currently working remotely so I have plenty of time for your furry friend. I am very flexible with drop off and pick up times and can let Loretta and your dog out at anytime during the day.

I have a fenced in yard and a built in (very friendly) playmate for your dog. Please let me know if your pet is crate trained or if they are allowed on couches/ beds.

We will go for walks around my home or they can play for hours in the fenced in yard. They will have a built in best friend.
