House sitter extraordinare! Taking care of your home, pets and plants is my priority. I have cared for dogs and cats professionally for over 20 years (& a few lizards, ducks, chickens and turtles too!) Born & raised in Portland, I take full advantage of the nature. I know the best dog parks and sniff spots around the city! Growing up I also helped raise my own pets, Sampson, Dixie and Duke, two Pitbulls and a Rottweiler. I am loving, caring and accommodating. I am disciplined in whatever way your pets need. I have a passion for service and thoroughness. Providing personal and professional care for your furry companions is a great way to connect that joy with you and your pets needs! I have extensive experience with puppies, senior dogs and senior cats.

We are so grateful to Hoopla for taking such wonderful care of our cats and home while we were away for a week. She stepped in on very short notice after our original care plans fell through just two days before our trip, which was an enormous relief. Our cats have very different personalities and care needs, including one with a complex medical condition and another who is quite anxious around new people. Hoopla handled everything with patience, attentiveness, and genuine care. It was clear she took the time to understand their individual needs and make them feel comfortable. Throughout our trip, she sent multiple photos and updates every day, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. We always felt informed and confident that both our pets and our home were in great hands. When we returned, our cats were happy, our home looked great, and everything had been cared for beautifully. Hoopla was reliable, communicative, and compassionate from start to finish. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter, and we would gladly book with her again.

Hoopla was fantastic with my boys while I was out of town, and they were also super responsive and easy to communicate with! I appreciated the updates and videos. I was also worried about one of the dogs favoring a leg before I left town, and Hoopla helped set my mind at ease that he was doing fine, which allowed me to relax more and enjoy my trip.
Hoopla was great with our dog and cat while we were away on a short trip. We really appreciated the updates, and came home to a clean house and happy pets!
Our family has struggled to find dog and house sitters that can handle our two needy dogs. In fact, our German Shepard is so anxious and territorial that people have refused to come back leaving us in a challenging spot. Not only did Hoopla handle our them perfectly we returned to super happy dogs. Normally when we are gone they have anxiety issues that cause them to be stressed but the daily updates on how great they were doing and well they were taken care of allowed us to have the most relaxing vacation ever.

I work for myself and I make my own schedule. I have established clients all over the city, so I can accommodate scheduling times and locations with more ease.
