Every little soul I meet is a gift!
I have 15+ years of cat care experience, starting with my first cat, Lucky, a blue Scottish Fold, whom I raised beginning in elementary school. After losing him to illness, I realized how much responsibility pet care carries and chose not to adopt again until I was truly prepared. My love for animals never changed — I now regularly care for my partner’s cats and friends’ cats whenever they need support, always treating them as my own. With a flexible work schedule and minimal onsite time, I’m able to provide plenty of companionship and attentive care.

Hongyu took wonderful care of my cat Cooper. She went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and well adjusted, and was super easy to communicate with. She sent me plenty of updates and pictures, and I could tell my cat was happy. I would absolutely book with her again!

Hongyu is very communicative, and take care of our 8 year old cat with amazing patience and kindness. He is a picky eater and pretty sensitive to new environment. It took him one day to calm down. Hongyu was super patient with him during this process while giving us updates frequently. Strongly recommend Hongyu to everyone!

Schedule
I work full-time in tech with a flexible schedule and only 2–3 onsite days per week. I live near Queen Anne and have plenty of time to spend with pets, offering lots of attention and companionship. If needed, I’m happy to coordinate visits around my work schedule and can assist with pick-ups or drop-offs when possible.

I’m experienced with all daily care needs, including feeding, fresh water, brushing, litter box cleaning, nail trimming, sanitary trims, tooth brushing, medication, and baths. When pets stay with me, they’re free to relax and explore — no strict rules, just a safe and comfortable home where they can feel at ease. My apartment is secure, so there’s no worry about pets running off, and I also have a small goldfish tank they can enjoy watching. I hope every pet feels relaxed, safe, and happy while staying with me.
