I grew up in a family filled with cats and dogs, and dogs have been a constant part of my life for as long as I can remember. Sharing my time with them has always brought me so much joy, and when it comes to my experience in pet care, it’s safe to say it spans my entire lifetime. However, as the years have gone by, I’ve found it increasingly difficult to bear the heartbreak of losing them, which has made it hard for me to adopt again. Interestingly, my son seems to have inherited my deep love for animals. So now, together, we’ll share the joy of caring for them.

Hongtao and his family did a great job hosting our very active one year old golden retriever. They followed our directions as requested and sent us a daily update. Everything went smoothly and we got back the dog in excellent condition. Thank you!
Hongtao took care of our dog Amber well. Amber seemed very happy. He sent me updates and pictures. It was a nice feeling to leave our dog with him and his family. Highly recommend him.
I had a great first time experience. There was good communication on messages before and during the sitting period. I got lot of pictures of my dog as updates. They helped me carry my dog's crate in and out of their home. Friendly people and clean home!
Hongtao and his family took excellent care of our dog. They were so loving and observant of her needs and very communicative. They left us many pics, videos and a complete description of how she was doing. Our pooch is easy to love but they really went above and beyond!!! I sincerely hope he is available if we should ever need a sitter again. Highly recommend!!!
I was thankful Hongtao was available for me to leave Darby with him over the Memorial Day holiday. I saw that he had experience and it was helpful that he lived nearby. He took great care of her and took her out for walks numerous times, taking pictures of her each time. I could tell she was comfortable with Hongtao and was being treated well. I know if she had to stay with a sitter again she would appreciate Hongtao.
Hongtao took great care of my dog and provided updates. My dog came back happy and well exercised.

Schedule
I work full-time from home in my studio, which gives me a flexible schedule that’s perfect for providing personalized care. Most of the time, they’ll hang out with me in my studio—maybe on my lap, or sometimes even on my keyboard. Haha, who knows? They always find a way to make my work so much more enjoyable. Walking the dog has also become my best excuse to get my 12-year-old son to join me for a stroll. Yes, a 12-year-old walking with his dad must have his reasons, right? Haha!

Our home is a three-story townhouse with a private entrance. There are no gates, so in most cases the pups are free to move around and enjoy the space. Just a one-minute walk from the front door is a large green area, where they’ll have plenty of opportunities to explore and make new furry friends.
A typical day
Most of the time, your dog will be with me in my studio—or maybe enjoying some fresh air in the yard. Every day, we’ll go for a walk along the nearby Jeffrey Trail, which is truly a dog’s playground.
