Safety, trust & environment

I live on a houseboat right in Woodbridge. A perfect environment for a dog to be one with nature. Leesylvania State park is right next to me. So each morning and each evening we can get our steps in each day. I do my best to reach 7- 10,000 steps a day. And walking and exploring right next to the river is such a perfect place for any dog to both check and respond to their Pee mails 🖥. I NEVER allow any dog I am caring for to socialize with either dogs or people. I have always felt a fur baby will never have to worry about an incident if you do not put put your baby in the position to be exposed to one. I am VERY VERY protective of the babies in my care. I treat them as if they were my own during their stay at Aunt Holly's House.

Information Holly W. would like to know about your pet

I do not have a breed preference I love all of them the same. The only things I will need to know in advance about your fur baby is if they require medication, dose sizes how often etc... If there are familiar routines and scenarios you and your baby go through everyday. For instance when I had my pugs I would dance everytime I asked if they had to go potty... It was "our" funny thing to do and they all knew when I would dance it was time to go pee. Lastly diet, food rations special treats etc...

A typical day

If walking is your dogs thing then lets get a good healrhy walk in. If your dog doesnt do that good on walks for instance a larger rambunctious baby or a slow moving or maybe blind senior and would be more comfortable and familiar in their own backyard then lets play and burn of some energy at home. If toys are on the menu then lets go through the toybox so your baby can proudly show off all his or her toys and play! If I am caring for an elderly senior, special needs such as blind or bed ridden pet. I always make sure that my voice is heard when I am out of sight of him or her. I always made sure that my special needs furbabies get extra special love and attention. If I have a deaf fur baby in my care I always make sure to use my hands and body as well as facial expressions to communicate. And if an owner has special sign language used then I would be very interested in learning them before our time together. At the end of the day I could never replace a parent however my goal is to be a trusting and loving fill- in companion while your away.❤

Pet care experience

I want to start my bio off by assuring my future clients I NEVER host dogs from different homes.I will only care for babies from the same home so he or she will get 150% of my love and attention Because being away from home is confusing enough. I treat all dogs like kids... To many pet owners they are our children. As you can see from my photo album Ive included pug babies I have fostered, rescued and adopted over the past 17 years. Some were abused and others came from puppy mills. So I specialize in calming distraught dogs in transition. As well as Ive included just a few of my happy babies Ive cared for over the years... I am not afraid to get on the ground and talk to a pet who is stressed and missing their parents. I've owned and rescued 5 pugs total in my life with focus and specializing in senior care. I treated each one like they were my child. Because they were! I will treat yours exactly with the same love and affection I gave to all of mine. Pets can be afraid, anxious and confused without their owners and that's where I come in and form a temporary or long term familiar bond with your baby. I have always had a natural gift of creating instant trust and bonding with animals and for that reason I love pet sitting. From large to small I will make any dog or cat feel safe and comfortable while your away.

Holly is a fantastic dog sitter. She treats the pets like they are her own and both pebbles and remy felt so loved while we were gone. She spoils them and never leaves their side. Holly updated us with pictures and videos of our babies so we knew how they were doing. In addition to treating our furbabies like royalty she even went above and beyond to clean/organize our house while we were away. We have trusted our pups with holly multiple times and she is the only one we plan to use 😊

Holly was wonderful. She is just so nice and caring. She watched our dog that has just gone blind and we could not have picked a better person. She brought treats, toys and a sweater for Winnie our dog. She sent multiple pictures several times a day that were awesome. She walked her and let her out multiple times a day probably more than we do. She left the house just as it was when left. She folded some laundry that was left in the dryer, washed Winnie’s blankets that go on the couch all on her own. We’ve never left Winnie before and we’re a little uneasy about it but Holly was better than we hoped for. She is a little more expensive than some house sitters on Rover but she is well worth it and then some. We will definitely use her again. Thanks Miss Holly. Sincerely, Dennis Crosson

Holly is amazing!!!’ She loves me dog as if it were her own. She makes it easy for us to leave knowing that she is spoiling, entertaining and exercising our dog. We absolutely love Aunt Holly and our dog does too.
