Boutique Farmhouse Boarding!

Hey y’all, I’m Holly! I’m a full-time dog sitter, boarding host, and obedience trainer living the farm life just outside the city. About 15 years ago, I traded the hustle and bustle for more space, privacy, and a dog-centered lifestyle—and now my partner Isaac and I have built our home around exactly that. We offer boarding and daytime playgroups in a secure, home-based setting with the amenities you’d expect from a large boarding facility, but with the comfort, attention, and personal care of a private home. Our farmhouse sits on a securely fenced acre, giving dogs room to safely play, explore, decompress, and enjoy their stay. Dogs are truly life here. In addition to boarding and training, I serve as the Program Director of a New Orleans-based dog rescue specializing in high-medical-need dogs. Because of that, I’m very comfortable administering medications, injections, fluids, specialty diets, and handling dogs who need extra patience or experience. I also have trusted veterinarians on speed dial should anything urgent ever come up. I have extensive experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities—from feral strays and high-drive working breeds to seniors, puppies, tiny Poodles, nervous dogs, and everything in between. Baths, light grooming, crate routines, structured play, and special care instructions are all no problem. Basic obedience training packages are also available for dogs who could use a little extra polish during their stay. You're welcome and encouraged to take a look at our reviews - we pride ourselves on giving stellar care! If you’re looking for a safe, experienced, dog-savvy home where your pup will be treated like one of our own, we’d love to welcome them!

Holly took great care of my two pups! She invited me to see her home where the pups would be and had great communication. She even sent me an update with pictures.

Otis had a great time with Holly! We already had a family vacation planned when we adopted Otis, and since he was just settling in with us we wanted to have him stay in a home rather than a traditional boarding facility. Holly gave us honest feedback on how he did with her and sent pictures and videos so that we could see he was enjoying himself while we were gone.

Holly was great with our nervous terrier. She sent photos and updates daily. Our pup came home happy and healthy! We will definitely book with her again!

Schedule

I board dogs professionally from my home, so caring for them is part of my everyday routine — not something I squeeze in around another job. During the day, I run supervised playgroups in our secure yard and rotate dogs based on size, age, energy level, and personality. High-energy dogs get room to play, seniors get a calmer pace, and shy or sensitive dogs are given time to settle in comfortably. Everyone receives structured playtime, potty breaks, meals, treats, rest time, and plenty of individual attention throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment

Our farmhouse sits on 3.5 securely fenced acres, tucked away from busy streets and set up with dogs in mind. This is a dog-centered home with plenty of space, toys, enrichment, and safe areas for both play and rest. Dogs are always supervised and thoughtfully matched with appropriate playmates. I take introductions, group dynamics, feeding routines, medications, and individual needs seriously so every dog can feel safe, comfortable, and cared for during their stay.

Pets

A typical day

A typical day includes supervised outdoor play, potty breaks, enrichment toys, treats, meals, naps, and plenty of downtime between activities. Dogs who enjoy social time can join compatible playgroups, while seniors, smaller dogs, or lower-energy pups can enjoy a quieter routine. Meals are served privately in each dog’s own space, and overnight guests sleep in their own XL indoor kennel with soft bedding, toys, and approved chews. I also keep Kongs, puzzle toys, and other enrichment options on hand to help keep dogs mentally engaged and happy. You'll receive daily photos and videos of your best friends enjoying themselves here!

Please let me know about your dog’s daily routine, temperament, medical needs, food sensitivities, crate habits, leash manners, play style, and any behaviors or quirks I should be aware of. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make their stay safe, smooth, and comfortable. I’m happy to accommodate most reasonable requests, including medication schedules, special diets, senior care, shy dogs, and dogs who need a little extra structure or patience.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
