Holly cared for our 3 dogs, kitten and crested gecko while we were out of town for 6 days. We have a crazy puppy pack: 10+ yr old grumpy little white dog, 4 yr old yellow lab & 2 yr old rescue Aussie. She made fast friends with the dogs, even the grumpy one! They each got play time & cuddles from her morning, midday and evenings. She sent me pictures that showed that they were at ease & happy! She followed their feeding schedule and confirmed instructions with me when she had a question. Holly stayed at our home, sleeping upstairs to keep the kitten company at night. She even played fetch with our silly kitten who loves to chase little puff balls! All our pets were great upon our arrival home. Holly left everything clean, even washing her own bed linens. I would highly recommend her as a pet sitter and plan to continue using her whenever we travel.

Schedule
I'm currently working full-time in Webster, TX but am available to do AM/PM & lunchtime drop-ins. If preferred, house sitting is another option if you are comfortable with that arrangement. Can provide multiple references of in-home customers. Weekend availability.

I always try to meet with the client and their pet in their home before beginning the pet sitting assignment. I like to develop a rapport with both the pet and the pet parent. I discuss what each visit will entail and go over a typical day in the life of their cat or dog. I always record all pertinent information, including emergency contacts, veterinarian information, feeding instructions, medications, alarm codes, etc. I proactively communicate with my clients. Texting them when I arrive at their house and give a status update, reassuring them everything is in order and their pets are doing well. I will always ensure your pet and home is as safe as possible.
Pets
A typical day
I would ask the owners what kinds of activities, games their dog enjoys, and go along with those. Nice long walks in parks or trails or other pleasant places are always appreciated. Games, interactive play with toys, balls, even a stick are fun. Some dogs really enjoy chilling, watching TV while laying in/on your lap, being scratched and stroked.
