I have been caring for and loving animals from my earliest memories. While I was younger growing up we mostly had dogs and rabbits, but later on we also had birds, turtles, hamsters and cats of course! My first step towards professional animal care was volunteering at a groomer shop when I was 16. I assisted with grooming, walked dogs and cleaned cages. I've always been someone my friends, family and neighbors have depended upon to care for their pets when they were out of town or just needed a little extra help. In 2015 I was on my way to becoming a vet tech. While the classes were real and provided great lessons, unfortunately the school shut down. The experience I gained from it was still beneficial however, I learned some anatomy, how to administor vaccinations and a greater understanding of how to care for many types of pets. While I was attending school I also worked at the Humane society. I cared for dogs, cats and rabbits mostly. Taking dogs out for exercise, making enrichment toys for all the animals,and making sure everything was clean for them were just a few of my responsibilities. I love all animals but dogs in particular have a special place in my heart. I've been studying canines since I was in elementary school and continue to be interested in learning everything I can about our lovely companions. I love dogs and generally they love me back! I will be ecstatic to care for other's babies and love them like my own!
