Pet care experience

I’m 52 and my daughter is 15 we are looking to do something together to earn extra money. We have 2 dogs of our own and I grew up with dogs. We love dogs to play with them, walk them and show them love. We look forward to helping others who have dogs if your out of town or at work and your dog needs a walk, play time or just some attention. Whatever is needed we are happy to assist with any special instructions we love our pets and want them to feel loved and secure. Looking foreword to do something with my daughter that is helping others and good way to earn dome extra money during the school year. We are here for you and you dog!

Things were not listed correctly on Holly's site on Rover. Holly said she only would care for one family at a time. When I arrived she had two other families dogs there, plus hers. A total of 5 dogs when mine came, not 2 dogs like it should of been. I explained to Holly how important it was that Rosie only eat her dog food and treats that I brought. I told her that Rosie gets very sick eating other foods and treats. I explained to Holly that Rosie is on a special diet! When picking up Rosie about 48 hours later, Holly mentioned that Rosie got into the other dog's food. I was not happy about this, but at the time Rosie looked okay. After we got her in the car for our 4 hours drive home we realized she was extremely ill. Rosie had the diarrhea so bad. She was pooping ever 1/2 hour to an hour. We had to keep stopping. Rosie was whining and not comfortable the whole 6 hours it took us to get home. She continued to have diarrhea almost every hour during the night after getting home. In the morning I took her to the vet. Rosie needed to get medication to stop the diarrhea ASAP. We now had to make special food for her. Rosie had a bath before she went to Holly's. Now I had to give her another bath upon arriving at home. Her kennel had poop in it as well, and her car seat was full of poop. We didn't get more than 3 hours of sleep last night. I would never bring any pets to Holly's house. She is not a responsible sitter. A responsible sitter would stick to her word on her Rover site and if she had more than her dog, the sitter would feed them in separate rooms, places, kennels, etc., so each dog could eat their own food!!! My vet bill now stands at $107.00 already and Rosie will more than likely be going back to the vet tomorrow; as she has an appointment to see how's she's doing!!!

Our pup enjoyed another wonderful stay with Holly and Mocha. The dogs are close to the same size and spent time playing and guarding the street from everything (as evidenced by them both barking at me as I walked up - until I got close and my dog actually recognized me.) We'll definitely try to book with Holly again in the future. Possibly even just an occasional play date for the day.
