Pet care experience

Personal loving care

Growing up in a menagerie-type house I'm used to catering to all creatures great and small. I've studied Clinical animal behavior and love seeing what makes our pets tick, and therefore comfortable. I've had everything from puppies to rescue dogs, to birds, rabbits, rodents, tarantulas, and newts to get as broad a spectrum as possible. To complement my practice, I've studied extensive theory in things such as advanced cat/dog first aid, exotic animal care, veterinary nursing, animal welfare, phlebotomy, and animal nutrition to name a few. I am currently studying for a BSc in Veterinary Biosciences and currently work in pharmacy all to achieve my goals of working in veterinary. I have volunteered at Blairdrummond and loved looking after the lemurs, I have also had placements at my local vet, help out regularly at Hessilhead wildlife rehabilitation, and helped out at the riding school for the disabled caring for the horses and loved every second. Your pet is your family and whether you are going on holiday, to work, or just needing some pet help I'm your person. Let me know what needs to be done, even some housework if you're going away if that is helpful. Just send me a message and we will work it all out. However I do travel and may have to include travel expenses but everything is upfront and negotiable as the pets are the important ones!

Safety, trust & environment

I have a very large front and backyard fully fenced at around 6 feet. Plenty of grass but also flowers and mud for dogs to run around in. I live near a popular dog park that has loads of fun things to do, along with woodlands with some streams, farm/countryside, and a couple of Forestry parks so there is plenty to do depending on your dogs' favorite things.

Came home to a happy and chilled cat, my wee Harry. 🐈‍⬛ He really seems to like Holly. I'm happy to recommend her.

Please don’t hesitate to book Holly, her bond with Bracken is really special and brings him SO MUCH joy! Further to that is her kind consideration and flexibility of our household of small children and as such has become (hostage) an extension of our family!

Schedule

I work one day a week and have a fairly flexible schedule so I spend a lot of my time out with my dog or lazing in front of the Tv so I have plenty of time to spend with your furry family!

Cats
0 to 7 kg
7 to 18 kg
18 to 45 kg
over 45 kg
Holly can host up to 10 drop-ins per day
Obviously, any health concerns and local vet but mostly just what they like and what they don't, what needs to be done and what not allowed (I'm immune to puppy dog eyes!) and your pet's personality so to make any trips away completely stress free and fun for both owner and furry pal.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
